The Invention of Thanksgiving

A really great way to break down Thanksgiving and the Native American experience, digging in without going down the same ol' roads... not without the necessary barbs of truth, but really trying to get around the guilt, occlusion, prevarication, with intelligence and humor. Also, it's a beautifully crafted video mixed with animation on it's own.

Thanksgiving is one of the most universal human activities. Every culture has rituals to give thanks to their gods, ancestors, or just the people around them. We ought to reclaim Thanksgiving from false historical myths and return it to the shared virtues of all cultures, which is what this country should be about.
