BRAVO❣ STANDING OVATION❣👏👏💖💖💖👏👏❣ You had me on the verge of TEARS❣ I'm half Palestinian, half Irish Canadian. I know PLENTY about Palestine but not much about Eire. I was born in '66, presumably at the tail end of Eire's struggle. It is suspected that I may be a great grandaughter of one of the Two Sinn Fein founders in Cork, yet there was no fight when I came of age so I concentrated on the Palestinian struggle completely. I DID have the impression you said. I subbed to the Video Parliament channel in about Nov or Dec after I fell in love with an Irish Parliamentarian when I heard her speak at the EU. She was eloquent and passionate about Palestine and she made me prouder of Eire than I was already. I put up a couple of videos of her soeaking 💖 I heard one or two more, speak in the Parliament, calling out the xionist-controlled ones. I have to admit, I only paid attention to them with respect to loud voices for Palestine and not the Irish issues though. I've just taken them for granted & haven't gone to their channel in awhile. I know Irish Parliament is a mixed bag of course and I've gotten different messages from Irish actions but I didn't think Ireland was nearly that involved as you just made me aware. You also made me aware enough to check myself on my critical thinking akills. Can't get lazy about that. I DID form my opinion on Ireland's stance on Palestine, basedcon speeches - words. I also assumed the greater portion of Eire was on our side so I'm glad I was right about that one. 💗 I didnt know about the actions the Irish people were doing. I mainly see the massive protests innLondon & New York and that's even on social media even, where I ironically come for truth lol. Glad for you sharing your perspective Brother. Shukrane ekteer 💖💖💖 Long Live Palestine 🌈👃 Long Live Eire 🌈👃 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

I think people have been made so addicted to their own countries' economic growth in recent decades, and governments that want to stay in power know this. The question is: would the majority of the Irish or people of any other country for that matter be in favour of their governments taking steps that would harm the economy and possibly bring upon them the wrath of the US (which could cause additional economic harm) for the sake of stopping the genocide of the Palestinian people? I hope that the answer is yes.

Irish here. Most of us over the age of, say, 40 remember Ireland during some very bad economic times. I'm the youngest of 5 and all of my older siblings were "forced" to emigrate in the 80s and 90s as were my parents in the 50s/60s (returning in the 70s). None of us want to go back to that and we are very tied to the US economy, unfortunately. The government should've never made us so completely dependent on the economy of another based on such precarious conditions that could collapse any time soon (read about the recent case of Ireland being forced to accept tax from Apple). Would we be in favour of economic ruin in order to stand by our morals? I don't think most people of any country would agree to that, tbh. Not the answer you hope to hear, but there you have it.

A similar situation happens in Spain. Being a majority of the people that stands with Palestine (even some right-wing ones), our governments take one shy step in favor of Palestina once a decade as much, and it uses to be rather a symbolic one, which being a step most countries refuse to take, in the end it's more a facade than any other thing, plus, most of the times doing contracts for weaponery that try to hide from the public. There's only one party that is truly brave and don't hesitate at pressing for the human rights protection. This party was attacked with every tool possible from the establishment, and nowadays is badly hurt. I get angry when I see some people believe our politicians' empty words, but I guess it's more than many countries do. The situation requires extraordinary and immediate measures to be taken, because the Palestinians are dying almost at the speed of the timer and can't wait. At least we are lots of people united for humanity and that brings an unprecedented hope. Not a single step back, Palestine will be free🇵🇸❤️

@@annelliot622 You couldn't have explained better. I often think about this. I ignore how deep would be the impact on the economy when stooping arms sales, commercial relations, and so on. What the governments should do once and for all is heading to the people as grown adults for the first time, explain the situation, the possible consequences for each decission, warn the people about what is to be expected, and open the debate for finally make a decission. Anyway this management of the world is no longer sustainable, so anyway we're gonna face consequences, deal with resources limits, and anyway need to make a choice for our survival. Plus, this would be the best alleged case where the wars hasn't destroyed it all. We're in the hands of drugged pilots, definitely. Thank you for your comment.

@@barnichua Thank you. I think the first step is to get the mainstream media out of the grip of the corporate powers so that more people can properly understand those issues. Once the majority are properly informed (and also better educated perhaps), only then can they engage properly with sincere governments and with the issues. I don't know about Spain, but the majority of people in the English speaking world are dumbed down by government mass schooling and subtly misinformed by the mass media.
