I love this video so much! I still can’t figure out if I’m an INFJ or ISFJ… I just love both Si & Ni and repress both Ne & Se 🤣

Idk just go on ur hunch ig That hunch thing may not the the smartest and most generally applicable idea since I'm biased INFJ

I'll eventually do something like this for the INFJ (given that I was also in that situation when my typist told me I housed overlapping traits lol). Thanks for stopping by, my friend🌿

More are on the way~ there's a couple of isfj channels out there, though yeah they are few and far between. I watch "That One ISFJ" sometimes, she's pretty cool

Hey! Suspected ISFJ (or ESFJ) here. I very rarely come across ISFJ creators so I watched like, all of your videos today because hearing about Si from the perspective of an *actual* Si dom is rare in the community. They’re very helpful, thank you for making them. :) I noticed that you mention comparing present experiences to past ones - is this something that you do consciously? or was it something you weren’t really aware of previously? This part of ISxJ descriptions is confusing me because I can’t relate to doing that at all, many things remind me of past experiences or fond memories but it’s in a nostalgic sense, rather than looking for guidance in my previous knowledge- but if this process is an unconscious one, it’s probably something I do without being aware of it hence why I actively say “I don’t do this”. Sorry if this isn’t coherent.

First of all, thanks for stopping by, and that's quite a comment/question you have, and it was very coherent, beautifully structured actually :3 I think it boils down to "I can't help but relate what I'm experiencing now to what I've experienced before", which in itself is very open-ended and could encompass both of what you've ruminated about. I myself experience nostalgic moments, *and* I end up looking to the past to see if I could utilize anything I've learned and apply it to the present situation. Also, not all Si-doms are the same -- we may have varying strengths in our support functions (extraverted/introverted feeling/thinking) or maybe even our intuitive functions. It's mind-boggling the difference between an ISFJ and ISTJ, or even two of the same type lol. I might have complicated things more 🤔

@@mystamystic Oh I see, that makes sense. Our dominant functions don’t exist in a vacuum after all. Thank you for responding!

@mystamystic2 жыл бұрын
oh right, that... I once made INFJ videos here a long time ago before being professionally typed as ISFJ (with emerging Ni and Se) soooo those are where the intuitives came from. Might see more considering I'm working on a video for ENFPs lol

Hey Mysta! Happy New Year! My brain hurts from analysing how itself works 😂 I've always thought that I could never really analyse my own mind properly because it's the very mind that's being analysed that's doing the analysing 🤔 I see a lack of objectivity here. But no other person can experience my consciousness, so I'm the only one who can analyse my mind in anything more than a physical sense. I guess that's part of the nature of consciousness, being able to study your operating system, using your operating system, while it's running!
@mystamystic2 жыл бұрын
Hmm let's make our brains hurt some more. "The mind analyzing its mind" must be objectively defined in order for its meaning to have practical substance, enough for a subjective interpretation of this conundrum. So then who or what is objectively defining? The question implies there is another entity beyond our comprehension serving as its own instrument of examination.
@banjoapprentice38152 жыл бұрын
@@mystamystic Exactly! So either objective definition doesn't exist in this case, or it implies an outside entity, like you said. Perhaps this is where the soul comes in, separate from the mind, and able to perceive the mind independently?
