Also if you find a stick thats long enough you can poke the coconuts of the tree so you don’t need to climb it, saves a bit of energy

@@WoodsmanEarl Years ago I tried knocking coconuts down from the trees. Took way more energy than climbing. A friend of mine made a noose of paracord at the end of a long stick and also spent way more time trying to get coconuts down. A long pile with a saw at the end would work but again that’s a looooooobg pole. Good luck finding a 20 foot pole!

Honestly, the editing is way more difficult. Editing does so much damage to me that I have to go spend a few days studying in the wild just to recover. 🤣

I see that you use "heavier" instead of "harder" correct me if i'm wrong, but it probably means that the word for "heavy" and "hard" is the same in your language. This is at least the case for my native language, Croatian, where the word "teško" can mean both hard(as in difficult) and heavy.

Hi Chad from southern New Zealand 🙋🥝 fun video and great points. Injury when you are on your own is a huge deal and you're totally right, you need to take your time and work carefully. Yeah the coconut water, its absolutely the best thing you can drink and has actually been used as a emergency saline replacement in the Solomon Islands because its pure from green coconuts and contains minerals the body needs in the tropics so im with you on that call, if you find green coconuts, get that coconut water into you. Dehydration is the worst. Amazing beach scores with the rope and net finds but it was cool seeing you make a cargo net too. Great video, awesome advice 🙋👍

Pemmican is really incredible. I only recently started using it. It's compact and packs a lot of energy so it's really practical to carry when traveling anywhere.

hey chad! i suggest you to remove those coconut husks so you can carry more in your cargo net and decrease the weights when you carry them around the island. also you can use the leaves from coconut palm tree to make a shelter!

I climbed a few times to get the shots. Survival is one thing. Filming it is another beast. I sometimes wild plants but not often. I used to do a lot of gardening when I lived in a house. I always enjoyed gardening.
