You wouldnt like it here in Norway since your problem in general would be too much water and nothing that can hurt you basicly exept maybe if you come between a moose and the kids during spring. We have lynx, bears, wolfies, wolverines but they are more afraid of you than you are scared of them. we got some pretty substancial crabs you can mess with and lots of fishies in both fresh and salt water. So basicly life would be easy and you would hate it lol. Now we do have one thing you would like, it's called WINTER. You would love -30 or 40 with a small lean to since that would actually be a challenge for you:)

Tbf, cold weather really isn't a big issue if you just wear proper clothing. Heat on the other hand - only so much can be tolerated before you overheat, regardless of what you wear. The main issue with cold climates is the lack of food sources. If you can't find meat, you're basically screwed (during winter).

Fish... you can make a hole in the ice and fish fresh water or you can move to the shores where the sea is basicly never frozen...you can also make snares for rabbit's etc bla bla bla. Winter doesent mean you have to starve...The problem with winter is that if you f...up you freeze to death, get caught in an avalance, go through the ice etc @@lordfabulous6198

That's a mather of knowledge, if i go to his place however i will need a big airconditioner and a beer elevator since i will be living inside the airconditioner.or i will die within a few hrs as there is nowhere to ecape the heat out in the bush...@@slowjamcdub

Great informational video Matt...loved the filtration system you put together. One of the most important aspects of the video that may be overlooked was the stop you made. You were sort of having a moment, which can happen a lot in survival situations. You took that time to try and calm yourself, take a few minutes, do some thinking, do an attitude reset. In my opinion it isn't something to be ashamed of at all.....but sometimes necessary. Tough conditions-great stuff as always!

I really appreciate these videos Matt. You really put yourself out for everyone and you do so with such positive energy. You’ve taught me so much, not just about fishing and survival skills, but to approach things positively and not to let bad times put you off. I watched you trek back through the outback after breaking your foot, I could see how badly you suffered, but here you are going back out undeterred. You’re a legend.

Great video. I do appreciate the effort. I just spent last night in the snow (“just” -5°C, but still), and it’s effing hard work. Setting up camp, collecting firewood, making fire, changing clothes. Everything is just so much harder than at home in the living room. Some day I wanna experience the Australian bush.

How about a series of videos with store bought survival items. Adding one or two items to a mission to see what makes life easier. I would suggest something like a back packing tarp, one of those straw type water filters, etc. You could even branch out to more everyday items that a person could carry on their person or in a car. Like a garbage bag (bin liner) small sewing kit, or whatever.

G'day Matt. Good video. I worked in that sort of environment for a good while. It's the only time I've ever passed out; I was banging steel pickets in across a clay pan while the temp was in the mid-forties, lol. I was soon back to work... Oh, and we drank water from anywhere. We'd fill our water-bags from the lagoon to strap to the front of the fencing truck for the day. None of the three of us ever had gut problems. I felt my gut had been the best in my life. And the there was the time I was lost and drank out of muddy hoof-prints... I lived.
