I don’t get tearful very often but seeing the 104 year old mans happy and stress free demeanor reminded me of what life is about at the end of day. There will be stress at times, but I neglect the moments of pure, innocence and joy to worry about the stress that lives in my head.

I got an allotment garden end of last year and I’m starting to sow the plants that will feed me during the spring and summer. I’ve never been happier. It’s a lot of hard work, I come home exhausted and sleep well. I wake up feeling alive. When I ate my first salad of pea shoots it was the tastiest thing. When I started following yes theory I thought my happiness would be having parties with strangers and doing incredible things, but it turned out my happiness was in planting onions 😄 this video is really inspiring, thank you 🥹

It is wonderful to see a situation of a pure life, no one walking around with their phone stuck to their face, no traffic, no big tech anywhere. You all have such infectious personalities that you bring our the beauty in people. This is so refreshing.

I said that yo my husband while waiting for my apt, I'm 34 and in sitting in a waiting room hand sewing some final touches on a velour jacket I just made and I look up and everyone else is literally on their phone, I stopped looked at my hubby and was like babe whats wrong with this sinario he's like your the only one sewing im like no all you guys need to put your phones down and enjoy the smaller things in life. Remember when it wasn't that long ago when people actually conversed and did things while in waiting rooms like puzzles, word searches some offices used to have game consoles. Now... you all stink, let me know if you level up your online scrolling b.s or shorts.... or should I make a video on how I sewed a button on my hand made jacket, scoff no one cares lol.

Wow, what an inspiring story guys! The wisdom shared by the beautiful souls living in the Blue Zones worldwide is truly remarkable. It's disheartening that in today's fast-paced world, we perceive the simple life as extraordinary and rare. Yet, this simplicity is how life was meant to be lived. Many of us feel adrift and conflicted in our current lives, struggling to keep pace. The solution lies in returning to our roots as humans, embracing a life connected to the land, nourishing ourselves with pure, healthy food, and fostering communities built on peace and harmony. Thanks for yet another amazing story.

My mom is from Ikaria, but has lived most of her life in Canada, she is 93, lives alone, cooks, and keeps her place clean. I lived there too not far from George and Eleni in the next village. I too learned to live the Ikarian way, a diet of little meat, fish and those healthy green! Yasas! Love to laugh and try my hardest not to be stressed or sad.

These are the episodes i look forward to the most. People and places that are more less isolated from the rest of the world. People who slow down and appreciate what they have right in front of them. They live for the happy moments that come to them, instead constantly going in search for the things that will make them happy. Everyone in this town all said that stress in the one thing they all try to avoid, and i believe that starts with excepting the life we have for what it is, no matter what comes at us, instead of excepting the things we can not change and constantly worrying about the things we can not change. Life will always throw us a curve ball, but how we deal with those events is what matters the most. We can find happiness in all things, its up to us weather or not if we choose to. To everyone who reads this, may you all find happiness and peace in your in life, even in the times when it is hard to see all the beauty this world has to offer.

Great and eye-opening video as always. One thing all the blue zones have in common is they all prefer the simple lives. I agree, people are too wrapped up in the conveniences that have come about in the recent years. How our ancestors lived is how humans are meant to live, and we should get out and about in nature, getting our body active. I hope I can start being more proactive in my day to day life and I challenge everyone else watching to start doing so as well.

Young men, continue doing what you are doing. You gave such admirable respect to these elderly men and I hope you take this the rest of your life, This is a great thing for young men to do, to be in the presence of such wisdom. This program was wonderful! "Don't be stressed!" love him! So sweet! Bless him. These men put a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart! Impeccable advice! When I was growing up in the Caribbean the elderly were well respected in families. They lived to very old ages. They were the matriarchs; the stalwarts of a family and the young were required to respect them, or they were considered rude not to. Not now There isn't an appreciation for the elderly nowadays for their wisdom and experience. From just what you guys have done here made me miss so much my grandma, who had so much wisdom to share about life and she lived to 95. And what she said, "don't let life get to you!" nothing different to what these gentlemen said. This video has lifted my spirits and made me truly miss the old-time way of thinking and living. I mean, they did something right! Now it is our (this generation's) duty to pass this advice on and way of living into practice in our own lives and in our children too. Get rid of the couch, tv, games, reality tv, gossip tv, bad news and go outside, grow what you eat, cook fresh, eat fresh and be happy! Thank you, guys this was a wonderful emotional program, Bless you all and every person in this program. 🙏

15:37 A very important distinction that i think gets overlooked, the video in the main channel is edited in such a way that it makes it seem like Mr Zacharias deserted the army when we were fighting the Nazis in WWII, but in this video it is explained that he fought and got injured during ww2 but only deserted the army later after the war ended, because he didnt want to fight in the greek civil war that immediately followed, that is really noble of him. The main channel video makes it seems like he was scared, but the reality is that he was brave and true to his beliefs.
