I like the implication that its tail feathers act as fake length so predators bite and get a mouthful of feathers. It’d be cool if similar to hypsi spit needing to be cleaned out, theri feathers had to be spit out before performing another solid bite.

Surprised you didn't mention that biting it's tail gives carnivores a mouth full of feathers and that that's probably the reason why the babies hide under it.

Therizinosaurus had a S tier concept art with only a few flaws like the hatchlings hiding under the feathers,being maybe a bit odd and the cutting out certain trees/ferns being still unknown Overall great video,and I wish you a great day

It'll be the herbivorous synonym of Giga. Moderate damage, HIGH bleed, good agility. Meant to compete and survive against large predators with smaller creatures being mostly a non-concern. It'll represent the tickle chicken well imo.

Random thought I think would be cool for theri is it would have a low scent range and use smaller herbis with similar diets to help find it's food. But that's just a cool little concept.

How. Either you have a low scent range and deal with it. Which is what most Theri players dealt with in legacy. Simply by remembering the spawn locations for your diet. OR be in a heard. It would be little to no difference in play. IF you're thinking "Oh but what if the helpers eat all my-" Kill em. Who said you gotta watch them eat your food? Just kill them for betraying. Therefore I dont see it as a bad idea.

@Toxic ⇂CEO of Charisma⇃ in Evrima you can't really memorize plant locations sense they will most likely be random spawn aside from that forcing people to have to seek out others when the dinosaur itself is generally solitary just feels like a bad idea and your plan of just kill others that eat your food would worsen the idea as well why would you help a Theri if it's just gonna try to kill you after helping it? Nobody would help them and the Theri game play would become a pain

Just to say, it may not have been as feathered as many depictions (including the Isle's) show it to be due to it large size and environment. Check out the depiction on Wikipedia by theriziniology for a more realistic amount feathers. Its one of a few dinosaurs that have become victims of overfeathering as opposed to the usual underfeathering. And the purpose of the claws is the other way around, main purpose was for pulling food closer to the mouth (like giant ground sloths), whilst working well against predators too. But... it is cool in the Isle even if its a bit too fluffy, the false hit box of the tail is a really cool idea.

i think that the theris backside will be less vulnerable and it will take the apex 2 or 3 hits until it does damage to the theri or its offspring, as shown in the art

Maybe the hiding babies mechanic CAN resist incoming damage, but only a couple hits, and with each hit the tail loses feathers until their are no feathers to protect the babies And once all the feathers are gone the babies start to take damage Rip

The gore update gives nutrients through organs which would make a hunt worth it for a huge carnivore which wont often find organs that large to fill nutrients. It'll be worth it to take that Turkey down.

Honestly it should deal.lots of damage and with the feathers it's like a big coat that can act like temp armor but those claws do break so my guess it's gunna be a glass cannon with bleed so you can either run up and beat someone to death or do bleed and wait since you outrun them

Small thing but therizinosaurus more likely than not used their arms more to grab high vegetation than for defense as they are too frail to not break in combat against large carnivores it shares its environment with mainly tarbosaurus Tho they were probably used as intimidation tools aswell

@@DreamerOfTheSouth still would cause too much resistance if it tried to cause deep cuts so it's not quite as efficient at that either however those cuts are likely enough to discourage predators as they can get infected and eventually lead to death so while it isn't gonna directly kill you it's probably not worth the effort unless there aren't any other prey options available

Hey Zaguer, just wanted to let you know that there is an active server from the older version of the isle legacy (V2 map progression) it had like 30-something players a few days ago the only problem is that it is from Brazil, there was also another server called Nostalgic island that was also older version but it didn't have many players so sadly it's down now. Also wanted to tell you about the Open dinosaur server on the legacy that modified stats of some dinos to make the game more balanced and also brought back old sandbox skins for spino and other sandbox dinos
