Your films are always beautifully shot, and our commentary is always informative and honest. It's great to see the journeys continuing with Lexy as well. So many beautiful parts of Scotland are rarely visited as they do not have a Munro nearby, which is a great pity, so I look forward to new inspiring content in the months ahead!

Fabulous scenery from the top... Bit unfair the wee dug pulling you up😂 Have done a few Corberts together and because of the drop and climb up between them 500 feet if I remembercorrectly...been a while?? Some are much harder than some Munros.... Look forward to more of your adventures Always a good watch. Thank you.

222 has a nice ring to it 🙂. Good to see you back. I'm currently parked up not a million miles away from Glen Coe. Been spending time in Glen Coe, Fort William and the Cairngorms, having been inspired by your videos to come and see the mountains myself. With the recent snow, they look spectacular. I have to start heading back to the County of Shropshire tomorrow, but it has been an amazing road trip so thank you. Another great video and looking forward to more.

Love your trip. Always an anti climax finishing the Munros, but a few Corbetts might help. Often more challenging. My knees won't do them all now but it's great to see them through your films. Thankyou
@eddieharwood7788Ай бұрын
I am so glad you are doing this. I knew where you were the moment you showed the waterfalls by the road. I would reccommend the walk up this line of falls to anyone even if you don't go on to complete the hill. But remember all hills are coloured by the weather - I don't believe that there are any boring hills - definitely not if you get the weather right. However as they get lower they tend to have a higher proportion of tough going. I see that this was in the autumn - I don't suppose you are doing too much in the current weather although hills like Little Wyvis can offer a great short outing for you in a short but fantastic weather window.
@ScottishMunroJourneyАй бұрын
Thanks Eddie, yes this was one of my last hikes of the year.. totally agree there is no boring hills, but I will definitely be picking my days on the Corbetts, good weather only 😂 looking forward forward to the adventure, Cheers, James

You will be a bolder man than me James if you pursue the full 222! We have been on a decent number of Corbetts because the ones where we live are sensational and THAT is why we climbed them. The very notion of grinding away through trackless grass and heather didn't bear thinking about because you will find that the Corbetts being far less trodden are therefore rougher underfoot, and many are far tougher and demanding than their higher cousins above 3,000'. So we've stuck to the plan that if something looks good, then maybe go and climb it. But endless grassy knolls........ see ye later!

So happy you're doing the Corbetts! I'm from the US and visit Scotland each April and May to hike and attempt climbs. I'm hoping to do Ben Nevis in May this year. But I'll be 74 in March and I realize that Munros might be a bit much for me as time passes, so Corbetts might fit the bill. I loved this one! Your films are beautiful and I like that you include lots of trail shots, and views too. And you have a nice voice to go along. Love Lexie too. Thank you!

Great to see you back in a new challenge. I've done some Munros and Corbetts and I found some of these more diffcult than the average Munro: tall heather or ferns, no paths, very boggy, the true summit is not very clear... also, as you pointed out they are quieter. With a few exceptions like Ben Vrackie, Ben Ledi or Ben Rinnes which are very popular, in most of them you'll probably won't meet anyone. Good luck. I can't wait to see more of your stunning videos.

@ aye you can go from glen sligachan but there a shorter route from Killmarie that takes along Camasunary bay. You do a river crossing but there is plenty rocks to walk on. Then head for the prominent v shaped beallach then sharp left up to Sgurr Na Stri. Just if you’re carrying a tent that route is shorter. If you go onto Scotland’s mountains Murray has a cracking detailed video with the route but he did it in the early spring by the looks of it with plenty snow still about. Honestly what a view. kzbin.info/www/bejne/paGkiH2keZV9qNEsi=bfT9sFiYK-9q0b4b
