Father Boyle, you transmogrify many lives for the betterment of our ever-changing world. I love how you show the men and women who walk through your doors that 'we' are all God's children and should be treated as such. Father Boyle, I used to volunteer at Eastlake Detention Center. I pray and think about 'my' kids I grew to love. I gave them a lot of 'food for thought' to make changes in their lives. My personal motto: It does not cost to be kind, thoughtful, helpful to others, and respectful. God Bless ✝️You, Father Boyle❤!

The actor Richard Cabral is a former gang member from east LA who found healing and success after being taken in by father greg and was given a job at homeboy industries. Most known for his role on the show Mayans mc as 'coco'. I have met Richard and have been following his life and career since before he was healed and found his success in film, back went he went by the name 'baby jokes' and was rapping as a full blown gang member with the criminal record to back it up.. 15 years ago I would have never guessed the homie would become a successful actor with a good head on his shoulders, it makes me happy and gives me hope for my people after seeing so many homies just like him lose their lives and minds in the streets to drugs and gangs. Father Greg is a blessing to Los Angeles and programs like his should be made all accross the country.

Beautiful story of rehabilitation that actually works at giving another start at life, post gang life. I’m sure hundreds of lives have been changed. Shout outs to Greg Boyle for displaying the love of Jesus Christ for decades. But may the Almighty God get ALL the glory! With all due respect, THE WORST FATE is when we die in our sins and are separated from God, in hell, enduring His just judgment and wrath for all of eternity where time never ends in eternal judgment, while suffering conscientious torment, and punishment. THAT is worse than death. Hell is a real place, populated with real people, facing real judgment. And if you’re a Believer in Christ, the day you die is the most glorious day. One can imagine when you transition from the earthly life into the very presence of He who spoke the world, universe, and every living creature into existence, Holy and righteous God and the savior of the world, the sinless lamb Jesus Christ. On that day, the believer will be in complete worship and all of their God and Savior, and will be experiencing an unspeakable love, joy, peace, where there is no more sickness, sin or sadness as the Bible says! What a glorious day that is. The Bible says, repent or turn from your sins and believe. Our ONLY hope is in Jesus Christ! There’s no way you can earn it by trying to be a “good person” or by doing good deeds because the Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23. By the grace of God alone, by faith in Jesus Christ alone, by the atoning work He did on the cross alone, all to the glory of God alone one is forgiven, saved, and promise, eternal life with God, the creator and the savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Repent and believe in Christ. The Bible also says that our life is a vapor here today and gone tomorrow. 150,000 people die every day most didn’t plan on it. We must be ready to meet our creator, the Almighty, alpha and Omega, God, the Father at any time. Please take heed to all horror reading this who have not put their trust and faith in Christ alone. “Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 NKJV “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 “As it is written: there is non righteous, no not one.” Romans 3:10 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 “But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10

I was told there were going to help me but didn’t. Shirley is one of the main people there. Or that’s what I was told. There was an event at the college i attend. I was very inspired by her story of making it out of a bad situation. She finished off her story by encouraging others and giving hope. She mentioned being able to help us get through what we were struggling with. That there was no longer need to control search for help because she was the help. She nicely gave me a number to reach out to and I did. But nothing ever happened. It put me further into doubt and confused. She never responded and I did reach out to her a couple of times. Makes me feel that all she said was just for show. The only one who has helped me is The Lord. He’s guided me through it all. But really thought I had found my community in her because of our similarities in life circumstances. I feel like it’s a pick and choose type of situation. Why offer the help if you weren’t willing to help. I wholeheartedly disagree with what ever is being stated here.
