awesome that i was included haha. here's a bit more information! ads probably refer to the amount of advertisements online that use buttercup and other popular songs of his without his permission. he said this in the statement about the youtube incident: "[I] would like to note that all usage of Buttercup in ads is completely illegitimate, and if you see an ad with Buttercup in it, please feel free to report it. I have never licensed my music in advertising and I do not plan to. Have also been fighting this for a few weeks." joose was actually before zaki, dating back to 2013 whereas zaki seemed to have started in 2016! the current "lost songs" that i currently know about seem to follow the same origin where they were posted to soundcloud early in his music making and deleted later. three of them have been found ever since this phenomenon was discovered, and they are called "daniel hansen", "kissin' on me", and "cherry slider" it seems the only way these could be found is if someone had downloaded them before they were deleted, which was the case with all three of these songs. there is also a fourth song that was mentioned in a reddit post called "malice" which leads some (like myself) to believe that someone downloaded it before it was taken down and is now currently the most sought after song that you cannot listen to anymore (according to my knowledge). i hope this information helps explain things more!

I mean, some of his songs have been used in traumacore videos (videos of traumacore art used as an outlet for people who have gone through childhood abuse/trauma such as being raped as a child or just abusive parents, I'm not sure if it can be used for any sort of trauma, I'll have to look more into it) tho I must mention that traumacore isn't made to be an aesthetic for everyone as it again is an outlet of childhood trauma (or possibly any type of trauma) and should not be glorified, basically creating traumacore to be different or it to be your aesthetic Because you like it (you can still enjoy the creations but you gotta understand what it means). But a large portion of his songs have also been used for WeirdCore and dreamcore which are just aesthetics made for anyone to create. If you like feeling physically comfortable or disturbed, I'd say check out some WeirdCore/dreamcore videos or images.

People make traumacore playlists and art as a way to cope with their trauma and it usually contains very trauma-based art and songs with really graphic themes.
