Well, now that I'm seeing some more clips analyzed, I'm not so sure in my original assessment on the validity of the fight was correct. I'm not convinced it was rigged, but there are some concerning angles I'm seeing now. I see a lot of people who are convinced it WAS rigged. Is there something specific that you see that makes you think it was?

Even with the "script" people are passing around of rhe tyson m/paul fight, i dont want to say it was scripted like that. I just think that one hit Tyson took towards the end of round 2 really hurt him for the rest of the fight.

When you said the word boxing the first thing that would pop up in my head was Tyson being an absolute beast and just knocking people out left and right. This fight was my first opportunity to saw him live on TV and it was like seeing a real life super hero fighting his final battle before hanging up his cape and becoming a normal family man. The fact that he was so slow and out of it broke my fucking heart dude, I was watching with tears in my eyes half way through the 3rd round. His legacy ended on a loss and his final chance to be a hero ended like a regular guy. I'm so heartbroken...

I actually respect Jake for not knocking him out it would have been easy at any point after the first couple rounds.. I also heard Mike say it took his team a long time to convince Paul's management and Paul to take the fight.. he didn't want to fight him because of all the people that were going to hate on it and rightfully so.. but then again everybody said he's trash and can't box and blah blah blah.. and he just continues to prove people wrong in every fight he's in so I'm not going to hate on the kid for making money because he made Mike a lot of money too and he makes everybody that fights him a lot of money that they never would have made otherwise.. he's even taken play less of a purse and given the fighters on the undercard part of his portion the split.. these are fighters that never would make that kind of money boxing anywhere for anyone else so props on that .. people just love to hate him because of a completely made up persona from KZbin when he was growing up 😂 he knows as well as anybody people don't need to love you.. it's a lot easier and pays exactly the same when fans hate you... Never in history has any boxer professional or amateur made this much noise in the sport this early or even made close to half the money he is pulling off every fight... Probably why most of the jealousy comes from the boxing and MMA world towards him... They should be taking notes on how he markets anything he does..

I will forever hold that no, the fights arent rigged, but by the Rules of Boxing anyone with a hard enough head can win the points battle on a better opponent. If this had been a street fight, Mike wouldve eaten Jake for Breakfast but it wasnt and never will be.. when he got challenged early he clinched up, when Mike got winded he poked the bear to gain points. Game set match. Only like 2 hits on Mike looked stout, and those didnt even phase the Vet for more than a half second, but when Mike landed a hit you could see it rock Jake for a couple solid seconds. Its modern boxing, its a points game, and Jake could play the game better at his age.. but, if you take the Ref and rules away, Jake's dead meat in a street fight.

This event highlighted the difference between professional boxers and athletes to influencers who just fancy "havign a go". That first fight was a joke, the second welterweight clash was an absolute boxing masterclass. Then we had Taylor V Serrano which again, real boxing, no pulling punches, 2 legitimage athletes who do this to put food on the table. Then the paul V Tyson "fight" was nothing but a well promoted spar. It was not a fight. Jake wants to cherry pick atheletes from other sports or other disciplines or old men and maintains that he is "serious" about boxing. After his defeat to tommy fury he shouldve gone on to face some lower level boxers to get his experience up. And tommy fury is no superstar in the sport.

If any of you actually believed Mike was going to win, you were delusional. It wasn’t because it was Jake Paul either. Any young guy that has any kind of advanced training would have won that fight against THIS Mike or any other 60 year old man. A 27 year old Mike? No. You wouldn’t last a single round. Hell, a 47 year old mike you probably would be KOd in the first. If you expected more than what we got, you were wishing for something that just simply couldn’t exist. I watched it just to see Tyson back in the ring but I even over estimated Mike. I didn’t expect him to move that badly. It was sad man. It was depressing. Your body failing you is the worst betrayal in human history.

A 60 year old man isn't going to beat any 20 year old epically if the 20 year old has fighting experience. I think Mike realized his legs wouldn't let him get to spots to throw punches. Paul is going to have to fight a young boxer soon. This formula isn't going to keep people watching. Paul keeps saying he wants to be a real boxer its time to prove it. I don't care if its a armature boxer something has to change.. Yeah ,Mike looks great sparring and moving in a straight line for a couple of punches. When does that ever happen in a fight? NEVER unless you rock a guy. I don't care about Paul and Mike making money good for them. Don't think it was rigged. Mike thought he still has it and he is surrounded by people probably NOT wanting to tell him different . The people around him want to make money too. I'm just glad they didn't get Mike hurt because they cant or don't want to be honest with Mike. Mike is still a bad dude in his head and to a normal dude on the street. I'm going to go against the grain here and say I think Netflix did a great job. I was in the middle of nowhere on wireless 3g not even 4g and was fine so I'd blame your ISP's for sub par service. Not the first time I've seen this either as I work in IT and have had people had better luck on old DSL connections with reliable ISP's than some sub par IPS's on fibre. I think it depends on the back end network infrastructure that couldn't keep up that your ISP has setup more than Netflix's servers as people on those sub par ISP's. In my country (New Zealand) people I know had issues with other services (but not all) other than Netflix during this event if their ISP was sub par

As shitty as it is to say I genuinely think Mike only did it for the money, I mean he even said it after he wanted to pay his bills lol I think there were multiple points in that fight Mike actually pulled punches or held back because the contract only yielded the most money if the fight lasted. Of course it’s only speculation, but I don’t think Mike went into the fight with the mindset of actually trying to beat Jake’s ass, more of the mindset of putting on a show and making some bank at the same time

Netflix hasn't really had a decent comedy special since then. Along with all the other controversy and woke bullshit in their company, I think this stream was one of the final nails in the coffin for them.

He did see completely different from his training videos. Much more stiff and slow. I've seen some hardcore clips of him to seemingly holding back... I dunno...

@@DOITWITHDAN at one point in that training vid he missed the trainer's hand and clocked him in the face lol. Poor trainer looked like he saw Jesus

I don't think rigged is the right word. its all the stipulations in the fight contract. Every fight Jake is in there's a no ko in the contract, as far as i know and understand. which isn't boxing, now I'm not a boxing fan or guy in general so I don't really know how it was or is currently, but isn't the whole point trying ko the other guy? His fights and boxing in general to be honest are really boring to watch. yeah its insane see people slip, dodge and dip just in time to avoid a punch. But I'm also an animal by nature and I want to see peoples heads get knocked off. And I think for og fans of the sport for jake to take away what makes boxing, boxing rubs them the wrong way, it does me anyway. Couldn't say for sure, I don't really have a dog in this race as I'm more of a mma fan

I'm just happy i don't have netflix anymore. I'm not trying to watch a fight between one of the goats (who's out of his prime pushing 60) and lake paul (the ex viner who's brother is a scammer). I just hope mike made a massive bag off this fight since they wasted so much of his time. Most people didn't even watch through netflix due to how ish their servers were lmfao. 350 billion dollar company that keeps raising prices yet cant stream to the people that decided to keep their subscriptions.

the fight was rigged! just like ALL of Jake Paul's other "fights". that's why I don't see him as a boxer/fighter. as you rightly said, he's an entertainer and nothing more. I just can't take him seriously. he alone could do something about it and not just put on the gloves for a show... as a kid, I watched all of Mike Tyson's fights and yesterday's was really difficult to watch. (not just because Netflix is total crap and should apologize to everyone) Mike looked like he was driving with the handbrake on. I also think that he bit the glove to remind himself not to put this entertainer to sleep with a simple combination.
