Back in the day my buddy hired a guy from Sweden who married a local gal he had been driving for 20+ years ....worked 3-4 days and said we were all a bunch of f...idiots and quit ...he was probably right

Here in South Africa, truck drivers are treated worse than dogs. That's probably why the industry is attracting such poor quality drivers nowadays. I was an OTR trucker for many years, but I got out. When driving my car, I keep as far away from trucks as possible 😮

Best thing I ever did was take a “pay cut” to go work hourly for a power line construction company hauling there equipment. All hourly and double time after 40 trucking is so much more rewarding when your getting paid for every hour you work

Switch to hourly pay,I get overtime after 8 hours daily.Time and a half after 40,double time on Sundays on non government jobs. Government contract work is icing on the cake❤
