In the past 2 years I canned a bunch of pint jars of ground beef several times, and have made plenty of tacos, burritos and such. Now I'm freeze drying cooked ground beef for a longer shelf life.

I haven't tried freeze drying hamburger meat just yet but I want to. I think I might try over the winter :)

Angela, you mentioned preparing eggs for breakfast. I have tried that but my scrambled eggs end up rubbery,how do you do yours?

I usually prepare eggs using a little reserved bacon grease in a cast iron skillet. I cook the eggs until they're almost done, turn the heat off, take the skillet off the burner and let the residual heat cook them the remainder of the way while I prepare the toast or other part of the meal😊 I hope this helps
