In Canon and Legends Yoda, Obi-Wan and Darth Vader all realised that the Jedi and the Republic deserved to fall. They realised the hubris and blindness of the Jedi and the Republic and Jedi's flaws and how they had lost their way.

Good analysis. It was the Jedi corruption and complacency that ultimately destroyed them. Palpatine recognized it and exploited it, like the good Sith that he was. I also like how you described Mace's allies as discount Jedi, or dollar store Jedi, LOL. If I was a Jedi during that time I imagine I would be something like Qui-Gon crossed with Anakin. I don't mean power levels but maybe personality and tendencies. But ultimately, I'm afraid I'd end up just another bargain bin Jedi, LOL.

Dollor store Jedi master was wild but on 🎯🎯. Mace definitely should’ve hit up Obi and Yoda and told them bout Palpatine being Sith Lord. Weather Anikin was lying or not better safe than sorry. Once Mace actually realized Anikin was telling the truth it was already too late. Once Mace tried to kill Sidious, that wasn’t the Jedi way. Check mate Sidious

Yoda was largely at fault because he didn’t allow the order to change, to adapt to the times, and to follow the will of corrupt politicians instead of following the will of the force.

Surely one of them could have read the mind of a clone and found the programming hidden deep in their consciousness. It would have been quite simple for a Jedi Master, yet no one ever thought to do it during the entire duration of the Clone War.

No no, if you take it as canon, the problem is they were presented with evidence multiple times that there was a plot against them and they just swept it aside. Evidence stems from star wars the clone wars. A malfunctioning inhibitor chip and reopening the investigation into master Sifo Dyas.

@@wellsclassof2017 They were also obsessed with the light side and ONLY the light side, which ironically led them to their demise. Their arrogance and blindness of logical thinking allowed them to be corrupted from the inside out. The Jedi got everything they deserved in my opinion.
