Finally got to see him live in Dyersburg,Tennessee and let me tell you,,, videos do not do him justice. it was an incredible experience. They walked him on stage and he lit that fret board up!!! A memory I’ll cherish forever!

Think about this amazing guy for a minute - blind since before he was a year old, started playing the guitar at three, developed his flat, steel guitar-like, lap style, at which he was superlative, played blues and jazz, composed, sang, owned about 30,000 records (many old jazz and blues 78’s), hosted a national radio show (Canada), played the trumpet and toured the world. HE passed away at the age of 41. I’m in awe of what he accomplished.

You left out that the older guys, including BB told him he could be bigger than all off them. SRV hit the scene and he was from Canada, so he got shelved. I saw him live twice in intimate shows, and he's the only guitarist that made me cry. I got to gamble with him. He was a very caring, and funny person. RIP Jeff and the band

Jeff Healey, SRV and Gary Moore were all so good. I think Jeff is underrated in the guitar community maybe.

Saw Jeff in Leicester De Montfort, October 1990. All of us were floored, left the concert speechless after a lengthy version of Voodoo Chile in the encore and we remained that way for the whole ride back home. Thank you Jeff for an unforgettable performance

Today, in this world of PC shit, well… I’m not blind, but I’m disabled. Imagine the world he grew up in. Back then. And he did not only lived, but flourished. He is not only a talent musician. He was something so much more.

At 7:14 you can see that Jeff never used a guitar strap as he puts down his guitar. But when you see him play it standing up at 5:22 and literally just holding with his left fingers (which are fretting the strings at the same time), it's just amazing to watch him do the impossible!
