I remember watching this as a kid. I memorised the theme song. All I remember was that it was about a couple who owned a dry cleaning business who just got a taste of the good life. I couldn't stop laughing because of Sherman Helmsley. Thank you very much to the cast who made a kid laugh at every joke.

this show was one of our childhood favorites. I loved those actors and now cant watch the reruns without missing them, the actors that have all passed on, even the original actor that played their son Linoel is gone now too. just so sad. sees just like yesterday I watched three of the actors all the time on All in the Family . The little mother in law Mother Jefferson was a power to be reckoned with too she was awesome liked her little shots of brandy for medicinal purposes. funny little lady. had a crush on the beautiful neighbor Roxie Rocker, Mrs. Willis G-d bless the souls of these wonderful talented actors for making so many of us laugh even in late 2015.
