I bought one last April and literally sold all of my other guitars because its just that good. I have no need for other guitars that don't play or feel as good as my JET.

I bought this exact same model about 2 years ago and could not believe how good the neck was and how great this guitar played at this price point. Picked up a second one (JS300), which had already been modded with a set of Rails (same neck, plays great). So I went out and bought the JT300 after that because it's got the same neck and it's got a top loaded bridge (which I like). Now I kinda thought that I would probably want to mod the original Strat and I bought a set of Toneriders (HSS) and then I finally fixed the only real criticism that I have about the guitars that I've bought so far and that was the quality of the tuners, which I replaced with a set of Gotoh Locking tuners. I love these guitars they're great straight out of the box, but because the bones are good, they are fantastic mod platforms too

Agreed! Jet needs a better marketing presence in N.A. Mines got Fender Vintera Modified 60s pickups, swapped the pickguard from my JS300, CTS pots, 1/4 blend, full steel trem block, Xotic springs, Jin Ho locking tuners, zero regrets on the mazuma I dropped on this thing since buying it. Similar hot rodding on the sunburst JS300 that's obvi an HSS 2 control machine now. (MIM/MIA replacement pickguards absolutely dont fit, switch hits the bottom edge of the control cavity, not just misaligned screw holes.)

I have 3 Strats…. One mim 2001 standard , one surf green partscaster , and my jet 400…. I love my jet just as much as my fenders. I changed mine to a SSS with a dimarzio pro track in Bridge, and some electro animals alnico 2 for middle and neck … I also put some nicer Wilkinson saddles on and that guitar plays and feels so darn smooth !!!!

Good review. I've had a js 300 for about a year. Took a while to get the action right but now perfect. Set up as hard tail the same as my 62 Fender Strat repro bought in 1989. The Jet neck and frets are top notch. Will buy a Blue js400 soon. Like the Fender 62, I play the js300 through a small tube head with compression, a touch of reverb and delay. Great strat tone - neck pick up. Would recommend a Js300 or 400 any time.

I bought a JT300 last week. I love the neck although mine is even darker than mahogany and the finish scratches with my nails. No fussed though, the neck is PERFECT in my hands. I'm going to modify this heavily

Couldn’t agree more mate. I would suggest to anyone thinking about buying one to just go for it. It’s a no brainer as you said. It’s become my number one, and number 2 🤣 (as I bought a second one). Gigging, practising and playing round the house - it’s the guitar I pick up all the time. I would put it up against a Mexican Fender at almost 4 times the cost. And I can’t wait to see what Jet will have at Namm in the next few days. I added locking tuners (a preference only) and strap locks (essentially for gigging) and the only thing I would change would be the pickups. As we would say in Ireland, they’re grand haha. Ie they are decent. Not bad at all. But like you a set of Alnico’s would be amazing in this guitar. Let’s see what Namm brings.

Frets look big which is a good thing hard to find in Strats.

Totally agree with you! Neck and frets are some of the best I've played! Still don't get how they manage to do it at such an affordable price! We are lucky to be able to play these guitars! Cheers for the comment

honestly they are both great! I guess depending on the model you are choosing from HB just watch out for the pickups they use. also I found generally the necks on the Jets are way nicer! what model HB are you looking at? cheers bud

Hello my friend! To be honest YES! The neck and frets on the Jet are really great! It's a solid good sounding guitar. Both the Pacifica and HB are good but I personally like this one better. Hope it help buddy but let me know what you think? Which HB guitar were you looking at?

I was looking at the st70 and st62 hot rod, I've seen so many reviews and comparisons and people say they sound better than the js400 or the Pacifica because of Thier alnico (i like alnico pickups more than ceramic). but the problem is none of 4 guitars are being sold in my country so i don't think I'll be getting any of them soon

I just got one, and it sounds way worse than your video. How do you make it sounds that good? with a good amp I guess? How can I make it sounds better besides having a new amp?
