Just from some initial testing, the JF-17 appears to be pretty much an F-16C-50 that trades speed, acceleration, energy retention, and sustained turn rate (More apparent when loaded down) for better low-speed handling and instantaneous turn rate. It's solid enough to swing with everything else and is not to be underestimated, but I wouldn't exactly consider it a top dog due to lower countermeasure quantity and lack of HMS (PL-5EII's are also kinda just Magic-2's from Ali Express. Feels like the worst of both worlds of IRCCM, but is still capable enough to depend on)
