The intentions of the Iblees were only known to Allah. The reason for Iblees to disobey Allah is clearly because he became too proud of himself. He kept himself so high, so much so that there is no creation better than him. You can find it in the episodes to come. Try to compare the behaviour of Iblees to that of ourselves so that we could recognize if we are closer to Iblees or Allah. Also, it is better to know the deception plans of Iblees in which he became so successful. just as a clarification about creatures for you dear friend: Angels: have intellect but don't have free will (they can't disobey ALLAH) Animals: don't have intellect but have free will Man and Jinn: have both intellect & free will (so we have the ability to obey and disobey, believe and disbelieve ... that's the reason we are being tested and we will be judged)

Angels do not have free will. They are very majestic creatures and they obey Allah. While jinns and mankind are provided with free will. Because if someone is worshipping and praising Allah with their own will he's better than angels coz they don't have a choice but to obey The God. So humans and jinns can be better because they're following The God's commandments because they want to. And yes iblees was arrogant and jealous. He was also competitive and thought he's the best. He was best among the jinns and also he was better than angels in the sense he was worshipping Allah willingly. So he was best until the creation of Adam(pbuh)/mankind. Iblees wanted power and control over the earth. You are right. And Allah is all knowing. Past, present, future... Allah is beyond time. Peace.

Iblis original name was Azazil. He was given the name Iblis (the cast out) by Allah as mentioned in the Quran when he refused to prostrate to Adam. He became very curious at an early age and wanted to learn more about Allah. Initially he learnt from the angels while he was moving around in the heavens. As time passed, he came to the attention of Allah when the angels were talking about so and so (that is Azazil) was very interested in the knowledge and Allah asked them what they are talking about (of course Allah is the All Knower but he wanted to hear from the angels themselves what they are talking about). And Allah invited Azazil personally and taught Azazil the knowledge he wanted to know. He became very close to Allah and was respected by the angels. One day when there was so much corruption by the Jinns on earth, he wanted Allah to allow him to preach those going astray and bring them to the right path. This, Allah accepted and appointed him as the messenger to the Jinns. He became the messenger of the Jinns for a period of time. Later he returned to the heavens to learn more knowledge from Allah. During this time, the Jinns he guided, went back into corruption. This made him angry and he asked Allah that since these Jinns will never change to the right ways, can he be allowed to destroy them? Allah accepted and appointed him the leader of the angels to lead an army of angels to destroy the Jinns. That's why he became the leader of the angels. But as time passed, pride came into his heart. He started to think he's the greatest of all creation because Allah made him the messenger of jinns and also made him the leader of angels! To curb his pride, Allah announced that he's going to create a new creation and it will be the greatest of all creation, Adam PBUH, from humans which will be made from clay unlike Azazil who is made from fire. And Allah will make Adam as the Khalifah, the vicegerent on earth. This was the starting point of his downfall! That's why in later times he was called the fallen angel. Because he felt the reason for his downfall is Adam, he vowed to lead Adam and his children into the wrong path. There's more story to it but I don't have enough space here to explain it. It takes more than this to explain in detail!

Iblis thought he was the best because unlike the angels who do not have free will, Iblis has free will yet he was able to remain pious and was included with the angels. With the creation of Prophet Adam a.s., now Iblis has a real competition. His first sin was arrogance, his 2nd sin was envy, or 'hasad', which refers to the desire of wanting something that another person has, and wanting that person to not have that. In Islam it's possible to feel envy, like, you're jealous that someone is more devoted in praying than you, so it becomes a competition. Many ahadiths mention about the Companions becoming curious when Muhammad PBUH said "this person will be rewarded this and that" and they've always tried to figure out various ways to gain Allah's favour. They asked Muhammad PBUH many questions about it. That's a good type of envy. But you absolutely cannot have 'hasad'. Wanting to be the best, while leaving your brothers and sisters behind.

We cannot see jin but they can see us.. They have some power that Allah give them.. During the time of prophet Sulaiman as, he able to make jin works for him.. And during the time of babylonia the witchcraft or we called sihr was started when 2 of the angle come to the earth teaching babylonia people a witchcraft or sihr as a test from Allah.. The source of witchcraft was came from the jin.. Where they have to make a contract or agreement.. They make sacrifices in a form of animal or even a human being to the jin the more they give the more they become powerful and arrogant.. They have the power to transform into any form except prophet Muhammad saw and they can cure some diseases with Allah permission ofcos.. Which we called a human as a witch doctor.. Allah mention in the quran their power which can make human sick, divorces, mental sickness, and they can do teleportation.. Sometime they revealed themself to us as we all called them demon or ghost.. They also had bad jin and good jin but prophet Muhammad forbid us to be friendly with them.. As they are different creature..

Allah knows what will we do before doing it but he doesn't punish us according to his previous knowledge like a teacher in a class who has students some are smart and will study and succeed others are lazy and will fail yet the teacher will not make someone fail according to his knowledge but he makes exams to test them and then some will succeed others will fail the same idea heaven and hell

Not in the Quran not in sunnah... there is only one verse say (And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." Iblees had developed a disease in his heart. Because he was given rank and honor he thought he was special and it was because of him that he was bestowed favour , that made him proud and arrogant and he thought he was better and deserves It. Allah knew it all even before creating anything and any creation what they are going to do. The knowledge and wisdom and capability of Allah knows everything from past to future. Because Allah is out of the bound of time and space. He is the creator of time and space and everything which is in it. Allah knew what ibless was and then he rebelled just as expected. By rebellion I mean only that he disobeyed when Allah commanded him to bow down to Adam. That was it. Allah could have destroyed him or whatever but Allah gave him some time. For Allah that time is very short. It doesnt even exist...but for the creation like ibless or mankind... it is substantially long time. You have to look at it like that. It is all planned by Allah
