Met this man in person and even though there were 100 people in line he looked me in the eyes the entire time and had a sincere interest in my life and questions. He answered a big question I have about faith and guilt and i'll just leave that there. This content is fantastic and the fact we get this for free is amazing. Keep spreading your knowledge and faith Michael; it is helping many of us and has a tremendous ripple effect. God bless and good health brother!

That’s great to hear. I don’t really follow the same beliefs or politics that Michael Franzese follows, but the guy comes across as genuine, and has clearly perfected how to act with people. His experiences in life have taught him how important it is to talk to everyone with respect, no matter who they are or what their place in society is

I can't imagine how difficult it is for you to revisit these events. I have no doubt that what your dad told you about how things happened was true. He had no reason to lie to you about that. He had nothing to gain from it. I think they were threatened by your dad, and his potential for leadership and success. There's always such an undercurrent game of chess for power. I have found that, when put to the test, very few people are loyal and deserving of trust. That's why my circle has always been small. You are blessed to have a few very good people who have your back and mainly God - He has you covered! God bless you!

I 1st heard about this incident from the novel "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. He goes on to say how no one was charged for the killing of the black guy, because the 5 that tackled him didn't say a single word to the police. Like in the movie Goodfellas, "You said nothing, they got nothing." With no evidence to who shot the black guy, the police had to let all 5 go.

Yep especially at that time in 1971. Today it's not that simple as DNA and/or video evidence alone can lock someone up but even today if no DNA is found and no footage clearly showing the perpetrator is found then they need witnesses to talk or the case will remain unsolved.

Another great video Mr. Franzese. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood in the Bronx and remember this incident very well. I was around fourteen at the time and still remember seeing the signs in all the local shops saying “This business will be closed on Italian American Unity day etc;…” and I also remember many of the Italian-American store owners weren’t the least bit happy about losing a full days’ business. I distinctly remember my best friend’s Dad who owned a butcher shop with his brother saying he was all for unity, but the wrong people were running the show.

Love Michael’s stories, I’ve always wondered about the Joe Colombo hit. To me personally it seems that even if the other bosses didn’t actively sanction the hit against him they facilitated it in some way. Recently came across a newly released book by S.J. Peddie called ‘Sonny’, about Michael’s dad. Would be interested in hearing Michael’s take on it if he ever gets a chance to read it. Supposedly dictated by Sonny Franseze (God rest his soul).

It's bizarre when you think about it.. the league was founded to fight the stereotypes of Italian Americans as violent mobsters - by an Italian American mobster.. who was then assassinated in a hit set up by another Italian American mobster at a rally to fight those stereotypes.. I don't think a whole lot of thought was put into the concept to be honest.

@sisuphos I don't disagree that the police murder more people of color than white. I agree about people being terribly racist and can justify hate with made up statistics. The leaders from every movement to include MAGA are taking advantage of people who think someone has their voice. But to say BLM is like the mob sounds like racist propaganda.

Michael, Though I can understand your position and interest in that the IA organization, before Joe Colombo was shot, I remember seeing the news reports on it down in Philly. I asked my father what he thought about the us Italians standing up and demanding our rights. He turned to me and said, "We are a cultured people; why would we beg the uncultured to recognize our rights? It would be better to tell the government to just leave us alone." People who carry placards in the street demanding civil rights will never be free because they're demanding them from the wrong source. Our freedoms are unconditional, God-given, Natural Rights, not privileges conceded by a government.

God given? Not distributed through any organized religion, anyway. People rarely enjoy any right unless they demanded them, fought for them and/or defended them at some point.
@dr.tomgio6694
@dr.tomgio6694 2 жыл бұрын
@@D.Appeltofft Whether you believe in God as the prime mover and intelligent designer of the cosmos or not, you cannot deny that Natural Law is a subset of the Laws of Nature and part of the order set from chaos. I mentioned nothing about organized religion, but it was St. Thomas Aquinas who introduced the Aristotelean philosophy into the canons of the Roman Catholic Church merging them with the Judeo-Christian belief system in the 13th century. These ideas were heavily drawn upon by people like John Locke and Charles de Montesquieu and other great thinkers of the Enlightenment and inspired our founders when forming our government. You may wish to eliminate God from the equation, but our founders didn't. What I can tell you is that you're right about demanding and fighting for our rights, but this is only necessary when others have either stolen them from us or are attempting to do so. Also, I know for a fact that they are not Marx-given and no power on earth has any authority greater than nature to either create or distribute rights. Our natural inheritance as a species precedes any governmental organization.

Michael when I commented a couple weeks ago asking if you would review the movie 2000 Mules and you answered me and said you would watch it I didn't know you would actually have a sit down with Dinesh himself, hearing him talk about politics is just amazing, he is a true genius when it comes to that stuff. Michael i originally followed your channel because of your mob movie reviews but your most important videos are actually your political videos, why? because you are smart and really know what you are talking about and you present all the facts and are well spoken. you have a big audience and alot of people just don't know what's really going on in the world because of the fake media has almost complete control over the entire country, and your videos tell the truth, no bias whatsoever. so these videos are even more important then you think. Alot of times i learn what's going on in the world from your videos, (i barely watch the news anymore because they are incapable of telling the truth) Michael you really should start your own news site or news channel on youtube or even regular TV or even your own social media platform like trump did, or any service that can reach people. micheal we need people like you to help us in this day of age where all conservatives are censored, we need people like you and trump and dinesh and the small percent of others who are trying to help us. We need rich, powerful people with morals to fight against the democrats and their cancel culture and their evil ways. we need people like you micheal to stop the madness and stupidity of the what the democratic party has become. Us internet trolls or whatever you want to call us who make minimum wage have no power at all, all we can do is complain and comment online, but you micheal and all the rich and powerful conservatives need to use all the money and resources you have to fight back and turn this country back to what it was before all the idiocracy, do it for all of us the real americans who need your help. do what the democrats did, start a bunch of social media platforms and TV channels all for conservatives and beat them at their own game. there is really only one news station that tells the truth vs every other one that spits out propaganda. it's too unbalanced. so do what they did but instead of using the media to tell lies just simply tell the truth. because like George Orwell said: "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act"

Great video Michael! I vividly remember the incident. Appreciate all you do in your ministry. I just recently saw in one of my old books called, "A Pictorial History of the Mafia", a note about your dad that says that the house where you were raised was bugged by the FBI while it was being built. Is this true? Thanks & God Bless you!

My grandfather was working with the department of Treasury and FBI, pizza squad etc at that time. Was very involved in Colombo. He said he was extremely close to arresting and indicting him. He said he would have been the first boss to be arrested, tried in court and had real potential to go to prison. He was extremely pissed when Colombo got shot. Apparently they were going to arrest him shortly after.

Love your channel, my friend. God bless you and yours. I have a question that's been bugging me. When you talk about things like the Columbo hit and other hits, are you worried that what you say may open up an investigation or you'll be questioned further if the right people view this?
