My buddy and I used to watch this back in ‘90/‘91 and laugh out asses off at the ring announcer at the 24:45 spot. Screaming his head off: “MAIN EVENT!!! FIFTEEN ROUNDS!!!”

What an incredible film...one that any red blooded American should see. Joe Louis...was a real life American Hero. His, is a story of great peaks and low valley's...but what the man accomplished during "his time"...was phenomenal. He made changes both inside and outside the ring. One heck of a boxer and one helluva man. HOO-YAH & God Bless Joe's wonderful Soul and memory.

I agree 100%. Joe Louis was a great heavyweight and it's too bad people hate on him because Ali overshadows him since Ali talked a lot. Many people said Joe Louis ducked black fighters too. Have you heard of John McGlothlin? He spews hate on Joe Louis everytime through his posts. It'd be great to talk to you about the Great Joe Louis. You got any socials?

Joe Louis is without a doubt my favourite fighter, I learned off of him more than anyone and I do think he was the best heavyweight ever

All the actors looked just like the fighters .Rocky Marciano looked just like him and all the punches looked real . I can’t imagine why .
