12:38 For those who don't know in the mid 90s either 94 or 95 Patrick Ewing finished 4th in MVP votes and the three ahead of him were Hakeem, David Robinson and Shaq. So Ewing didn't get the luxury of making an All NBA team even though he was still that good.

This is why Dom is one of the best voices on NBA KZbin. He’s able to give critique and be honest about a player as polarizing as Embiid without straight up hating. Dom doesn’t let negativity or problems around a player drive his takes instead opting to first appreciate greatness and then add criticism when needed. Joel is a great player and yeah he needs to improve his game in the post season particularly his turnover habits and shot selection. But the fact that he’s at this level was unthought of even in Philly. 🫡 Dom for all the great content.

As a Sixers lifer in Philly couple observations -2018 series v Boston “didn’t come close” we lost 3 of the 5 by a combined 7 points -Jimmy more so left to the return of Brett Brown, we had the max slot available and it went to Tobias after Ben got his -I didn’t watch if there’s a Tatum story but I hope it mentions the Boston postseason shortcomings as well Celtic fan Early 2010 Sixers were mediocre with Jrue and Iggy. Process was needed to give us a chance. This video should mention the offensive dominance just as much as the injury issues instead of the 65/35 difference it got. He’s the most dominant offensive player in the league since Shaq and that can’t be denied or ignored over injuries as a 7foot 280lb human being. Hakeem didn’t win a ring until season 9, Shaq 8, Jokic 8. When he gets his ring, I hope he’s rightfully considered one of the best players of all time like the others.

Gotta be honest ... not upset at his injury. If he had flopped his way to another MVP shooting 2,000 FT I would have been disgusted. Hes the new age James Harden you either love him or hate him bc of his style of play.

Losing Jimmy Butler set the franchise back several years as well as trading Bridges draft night 2018. Having a starting lineup of Maxey, Embiid, Butler and Bridges would have been insane. Oh and Morey supposedly turned down a trade package of Haliburton and Hield for Simmons back in 2022. Yeah, Embiid hasn't been healthy most postseasons but the organization made some real blunders along the way.

He's about to turn 30, and it's safe to say he's not gonna age like Lebron of KD. His best shot at this point? Get another superstar scorer in their prime so Joel can be the second option. Sounds crazy and stupid but it might help him stay somewhat healthier. And the Sixers already know between his injuries and choking they can't rely on him in the playoffs and need another superstar who can deliver during crunchtime.
