The Joie Spin 360 Grow-With-Me insert and wedge | How to use the inserts and when to remove them

The Joie Spin 360 is suitable from birth to 18kg and comes with a three-part insert that is used for about the first 15 months. I get a lot of messages from people who aren't quite sure how to use the insert, in which order to remove the separate pieces and at what age.

This was very informative. How about the incline. There are 6 different levels, which incline should a newborn, 4-6, 6-9 month etc be?

The recline is not set by age, it's more to do with how sloped the seats in your car are. For a newborn up to about four/five months you need to use the most reclined setting until they can hold their head up. After that it is safer in a crash to be as upright as possible, so I would install the seat with just enough recline to keep their head up when they're asleep, but not recline it too much.

What setting should the head restraint be in for an 8 month old ?

There are no set settings by age, because babies aren't all the same size. The straps should be level with the shoulders or just below.
