The joja way is to get a multiplayer friend to put down staircases, as it doesn't count as you putting them down. The joja way is literally getting hired help for you to not use staircases.

@@valuchiiii It only counts staircases put by the player seeing the cutscene. I went to floor 100 of the skull caverns with a friend who brought a ton of staircases, I just followed them and Mr. Qi said I conquered the skull caverns fair and square. My only assumption is it only counts staircases placed by the player witnessing the cutscene just in case a different player used staircases in the normal mines at the same time.

Love this video! Here's how I beat the Qi Crop quest: change your profession to agriculturalist (don't sell any artisan goods until the quest is over and you can change it back). Then plant all the Qi beans you find with deluxe speed grow. Now they only take 2 days to grow. Plant as many as you can, and put them all into seedmakers. Do this until you have a few iridium sprinklers' worth of them, and then only put enough into seedmakers that you need in order to maintain that amount, and sell the rest. It'll take a couple harvests, but you'll be able to ship 500 in maybe 16 days.

@@lissthelass Also, respecing farming to agriculturalist and using Deluxe speed grow make it a two-day growtime. Also, you can actually get Morris in the perfection cutscene within the vanilla-game if you go the Joja-route and don't have a spouse.

My preferred method for Qi fruit is to ruthlessly sacrifice them as harvested to seed-making machines. I did that and had no trouble with that quest even after dilly-dallying for a week before my sister mentioned that she does this quest that way and it works really well

@@lissthelass the other part I forgot is use the top tier speed grow fertilizer and the fruits will grow I think in about four days. You just cycle through it until you run out of room to plant or get 500. Far and away the best way to get qi gems fast if you manage to luck into getting it the first or second Monday of the season.

The easiest time I ever had with the Qi Fruit was getting treasure totems and farming the dig site on Ginger Island. You get so much stuff you won't know what to do. Plant your initial set and then turn that all into seeds.

When 1.6 comes out on Switch I'm doing the Joja route on the new meadow farm (for the Joja blue grass), I'll never buy seeds from Pierre and I'm marrying Shane (because he works at Joja and for the Joja blue chickens), just as like a fun role play that my farmer is secretly still working for Joja and is helping them take over Pelican Town from within. Also Concerned Ape should make it so you can buy backpack upgrades from Joja too, just to spite Pierre more.

For the Qi bean quest, the best way to do it is by using seed makers. I crafted like 5 seed makers and made sure to get many beans as possible for like the first half of the time frame of the quest. Literally put ALL Qi fruit back into seed maker until you have enough seeds to complete the quest.

Another great video! Love the joja spirit lol. Someone else has prob already said this but the easiest way to do the qi fruit quest is using seedmakers. You get avg 2 beans back per fruit, and they grow in 3 days with basic fertilizer I believe, so it snowballs fast. Still a grind but at least doable!

So 500 Qi fruit challenge. You don't need to find a seed for each fruit. Start with even 25 and once grown use your seed maker. Easy peasy!

The QI beans secret is just crafting some seedmakers, put every harvested QI fruit on them and replant until you reach 500. I used 12 seedmakers I think. It's still a pain, but no way I'm searching for those beans when I have the power of exponentials on my side. (I'm still on the middle of the video, sorry in advance if you remembered seedmakers later on)

What I did for the Qi fruit was get like 40 seeds the first day & planted them, then I kept turning them into more seeds & re-planting until I got enough seeds to plant and ship ✨ did it in like 16 days

12:16 you can get this quest done super fast by just resetting the floors the bugs spawn on and using monster musk (if you have it yet) i did it in like a day one time

the QI's crop quest is easier than you think, but it's annoying. The first thing you need to do is have the Pirate fishing skill and the Agriculturist farming skill. The pirate fishing skill will help you to find more QI seeds on the treasures chests, and Agriculturist will make the crops grow faster. But here the biggest tip: with your first crops, you will put it on the seed maker to get even more QI seeds. And then you'll plant some more, and you'll do this until you get all the 500 seeds. That's why you'll need to have the Agriculturist farming skill. yeah, it takes time and a lot attention, and you'll probably neglect your farm doing this quest lol but its worth it in the end.
