Hey! I'm a french woman who randomly find your channel by loosing myself on youtube, and I have never subscribeb or commented a youtube video but after watching a few of your vid I felt the urge to do both because I think you deserve all the thanks you can get! So thank you for being free thinkers , thank you for being open minded, thank you for paying attention to every details in the songs (rythme, voice, lyrics), thank you for making me appreciate songs I never thought i will (I'm not into rap probably because I've never understood what they were saying, but the way you analyse the lyrics help me appreciate), thank you for noticing details in songs I love that I have never notice or just stop paying attention to, thank you for always be respectfull .... I could go on but I don't want to bore you to death! So THANK YOU for your great work!! keep it 100% reel! I'm looking foward to see you react to even more style of music! Have a nice day! PS: If one day you ever find yourself lacking ideas on what song to react to (doubtful), here is few ideas: Jacob Banks -Mercy Heymoonshaker- premature blues Asaf Avidan & the Mojos- Her lies Ozzy Osbourne- Mr Tinkertrain

The Andrews Sisters? The Andrews Sisters were an American close harmony singing group of the swing and boogie-woogie eras. The group consisted of three sisters: contralto LaVerne Sophia (July 6, 1911 - May 8, 1967), soprano Maxene Anglyn (January 3, 1916 - October 21, 1995), and mezzo-soprano Patricia Marie "Patty" (February 16, 1918 - January 30, 2013)

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure he spent several years as a pure song writer for other artists as his primary job (hence the ability to write a good melody) and that allowed him enough money to try the Jompson Bother experience that he wanted to do just for fun. There’s a good video interview of him talking about it

he started writing in nashville in 2001 ..long before he started his own projects..as much as i don't care for chris b/c i think he's trying to be like jamie johnson he does write music pretty good but this jompson stuff is like he fell in the barrel of whiskey and couldn't find his way out....i will probably get flamed on but chris isn't my thing..he should stick with writing

I fell asleep on the couch & SNL happened to be on TV. Stapleton was on singing Parachute. His voice woke me up from a dead sleep like who was that? By then I’ve heard of him but none of his songs. That morning I listened to every song of his I could find. Been a fan ever since. Dude has “IT” a voice that invokes any emotion wit a single note

Can we talk about how ballsy that drum line was? To write a song off that tempo? It was literally the drummer hitting the skin of the snare on two different spots using it's actual tuning on the drum head. Amazing to go from there into this.

WOAHHHH THAT RUN IN THE INTRO 1:52 the way he gradually went up a note then brought it back down into a lil groovy run sent chills up my spine with that one. This was a very good showcase for vocals I must say there was a barely any instruments that interfered with this one and the slow tempo helped give room for more notes kinda like singing to that music tool Metronome thing that swings back and forth in a constant tempo. Really good stuff here thanks a lot fellas !!

Hey guys great work! I know big bands usually get shown and you try your best to get smaller ones out there. Theres a band called Sleep token, incredible and blowing up like crazy. Not only would you love them but showing them on your channel I believe would be the final kick starter to setting the band off. You guys have grown amazingly as a youtube channel. My request is Sleep token- Jaws.

A song you guys should check out when you get back into Chris is "Fool Me Again" He hasn't recorded it so the only video I've been able to find was a live performance back when he had shorter hair and a shorter beard.

Raoul Duke I live right down the road from copperhead road and they haven’t put a sign up there in years because people always take them. Pretty cool I can remember speeding down that road with my friends back in the day.

Y'all check out his cover of that Prince tune that O'Conner did called "Nothing Compares (to you)"! Oh, My God! Chris is such an awesome versitile singer. He could probably rap if he wanted to.

The comment by George is so true. We do become numb to greatness. that is a sad state of affairs. Most of us can't carry a tune in a 5 Gal. bucket. We should appreciate the talent that some people have been blessed with, and that they share with us.

Here’s something funny. Chris is not a drunk by any means, it just happens to be a genre that he is very comfortable writing about, I’ve heard him say. However, when I saw him back in about March of 2013, from the stage, he was just yapping in the mic for a minute, and was talking about drinking, and I don’t know how many people caught it, but almost under his breath he said, “Never touched a drop in my life.” I’ve yet to figure out if he was being silly or not. I used to live 15 minutes from where he grew up and knew several people that grew up with him. He never forgets where he’s from and the people who were there along the way. He’s an amazing artist and an amazing person.
