Yes I was there. Hypnotized because we had never seen this kind of playing before. Jonas knew it that is why they had such chemistry. Hellborg was playing with Mclaughin at age 19? Along comes Shawn. Better latch onto him because I can only get deeper with this kind of playing. I'm 56 and grew up in NYC and have seen a lot of greats. But nothing has come close to Shawn. Nothing!!!!!!!

@guitar66shred There were two different gigs I saw of the Hellborg trio at Wetlands. I don't remember the date but Shawn Lane comes on and raps during the Buckethead set. Very funny stuff
