this lick kinda reminds me of "miles of machines" from jeff loomis meaning like the concept of it, I didn't know this is what it was called. thanks for the info man!

Not so far away with this thought. But Miles of machine is a pattern in three, this is in four (check out my miles of machine lesson btw ;) )

Thank you for the video Justin. In the demo you look pretty confortable with the picking DUUU on those descending sweeps. What about the Finger UUU, Finger UUU you use at slower speeds sometimes? Would you suggest using that also at higher speeds ? And what about playing two notes on the lower strings, so instead of one NPS descending 1,1,1,1 you'll get 1,1,2 NPS and UWPS (DSX) compatibility, would that work for you at event higher speeds, even in the fretting hand will be harder with some stretches?

So basically A minor 9 (Aeolian) and F major #11 (Lydian)
@justin.hombach2 жыл бұрын
Yes you could see it that way, I wouldn‘t tbh because the ninth and the sharp eleven is not really part of the whole arpeggio, just a little spice that got sprinkled into the regular minor and major arpeggio. :)
