The Journey of Our Bare Root Fruit Trees

I recently recently received 6 out of 11 trees ordered form Peaceful Valley, three of them multi-budded. The trees look wonderful and healthy! Even though they're stating the multi-budded trees are 3-in-1, all of the ones I've received have all of the buds listed ( 4 and 5 depending on the tree)! They are big caliper trees for 2 years old ( none are less than 3/4" up to 13/4")! You cannot get trees this size anywhere else for the price! I live in zone 6A in Western New York and I am starting my backyard orchard project this spring. I am super excited to have found you as a resource, you have gained a customer for life!

I have never seen a GMO fruit or landscape tree. Is this a selling point as the only one I know about is GMO papaya. Do trees grow better since Organic became the buzz word it is today. Have we taught trees to grow better when certified organically grown.

The only criticism I have here is that everything out there, including Dave Wilson's advice, is that a newly-planted fruit tree be pruned to knee level so it isn't unmanageable by the next year. What I took away from this video is that growers should expect to harvest more fruit from these new trees - but that would mean no initial pruning after planting.

I noticed that but seen his hesitation when she made that claim. In his pause i know he meant it has good branches (for training) and you cab get it to be a good producer in a few years
