This video is amazing! I'm one of those who adore the feeling of a book in my hands, as opposed to a tablet. The heft of the book, turning the pages, and most importantly the embossing or different textures on the covers and pages. Long live actual books.

My revision course asked us to take a look at this video our first week. I love it! Cant wait to share it. Loved the music too. All the wondeful hours I've spent with my nose in a book being transported hither and you and now it's my turn to create a journey for someone else to take! I hope one day my book winds up at TYPE!

I was doing a cleanup of my favorite video list and I clicked the delete button one too many times, accidentally getting rid of this. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise, though, because I had to come back here to re-favorite it and ended up watching the video a few times through. This video never fails to make me smile. :)

I once had an artistic brother that passed away at a very young age. One of his projects -shortly before he got ill- was to turn his living quarters completely white. He painted almost everything and turned all his hundreds of books backwards on their shelves, so he only saw the white sides. This beautiful video reminds me of him. Thank you!

Gorgeous animation! There truly is nothing quite like a real book. No digital copy will ever come as close to the heart as a well loved paperback with its worn spine and well-flipped pages, that comforting book smell that seems to relax away all worries... If we're honest with ourselves though, something does have to be said for being able to fit an entire library of "dancing" literary masterpieces in the palm of your hand via ebook reader... its a book-lovers dream.

How many readers like me did pause the video to check the titles? To see whether they have read the books or not, or to count how many books/covers they could recognise? 📚 PS: books are life, I'm so grateful for them. I'm also grateful for authors, poets, artists, singers, historians, philosophers, scientists, travellers,... anyone that's doing something beautiful and meaningful, all those people who are making a change in this world.

My class actually made a stop-motion film of our classroom. It was inspired by this. I showed this video to my teacher in late December and she loved it so much, she showed it to every teacher that was in their classroom at the time. We just have to wait for the principal's reply to see if we can post it on youtube or not. Lol the only reason I made this account was so that I could post it before my other classmates.

This reminds me of a Warner Brothers' cartoon from either the 30's or 40's, "How do we know it's Sunday," in which the characters on the labels of this general store come to life on a Sunday, when the store was closed! Anyway, as a retired bookseller, I really appreciate this beautiful video!

this video signifies what life, and being human, is all about. it is clear that many, many eyes and hands and heads and hearts came together to create this captivating clip. life is art. art is creation. and regardless of what was done here, something NEW was created. the profundity lies in the fact that books mirror life. i hope to see more like this one!

while backpacking in EU in early 70's, stayed at Shakespeare and Company, Paris for a week. George would kick all the 'guests' -students- out at noon, and allow us all back at midnight. The shop came alive at midnight with students sweeping the dirt floor, filing books and finally cooking 'dinner' at 1 am.

What wonderful minds to think up something so "lively" and cute. Growing up we were taught at home that abook will take you every where and anywhere and is your best friend. I agree and have passed that on to my children. I am excited about the Kindles because I have access to different authors that I might not have met otherwise. I winter in a 5th wheel camper and now I can bring a little of everyone with me.

Love this video!! I love books!! I love just standing by my bookshelves and picking out one to read. It may be one I have read before, or I may be looking for something specific. I worked in a bookstore for 5 years, just for the conversations I was privey to based on other's love for books. I learned a lot and got a great discount. I do use the internet for some research, but there is still nothing like reading a BOOK. :)
