Exactly, the best kind of dad that lots of young criminals dont have in their family. In the black community 25% of the households have a father, 75% dont. The main reason for the disproportionate criminal behavior in that community.

As much as I understand Dads heartache for his boy, making excuses for 3 mf’in DUI’s is disgusting. My 2 little sisters were nearly killed by a drunk driver. They didn’t get a choice when that drunk got behind the wheel. This kid has been caught 3 times. How many times has he done this before he got caught? There’s no excuse.

I’m glad your sisters are OK. My husband and I lost two family friends over the years to drunk drivers one young gal with her whole life ahead of her one a highly respected professor, mother of two young children, she was very happily married. It absolutely devastated the girls and her surviving husband. I have absolutely zero sympathy for DUI drivers. They are a menace to society, no matter what the age and the fact this young kid has three!! next time he will kill someone and daddy will be crying the blues “why didn’t the court do something??’

@@carriepriegel6477 exactly. Watching these clips, as interesting as they may be does not show the reality of being forced to pick up the pieces of bad, wrong behavior. I never stole or harmed another but myself. I was sentenced to 10yrs in the Texas penal system for forging two prescriptions in 1987. Forced to pick up those pieces, I was never allowed to return to my former job……. But I have not been back to prison if that is success.

I used to live in Houston and there's literally permanent billboards that have the yearly DWI fatality toll that rises daily.... i used to cringe driving past it knowing i could be next due to someone else's choices. It's almost always the driver who wasn't drinking that dies in a crash.

on my way home around 3pm I had to swerve off the road to avoid being hit. they kept going, estimate 80 to 90 in a 60, not staying in the lane. they sure acted intoxicated. Thank goodness school was already out because they sped thru that 25 mph school zone too.

I understand the dad was pissed but, 3 DWI’s in 3 counties. Thats nuts. As a parent I would probably do the same but as a judge I totally understand. It’s best to scare him with all the rehabilitation now at a young age then a 4th in 5 years looking at 2-10 ruining your life. It’s tough but it’s the best option for success. I wish I would have been given that at 21. I would have been so much more in life. I would have hated the judge at the time but would probably thank him 20 years later.

What does it mean when he says “we’re gonna do probable cause…” idk what really means? I hear him say it all the time. I’m assuming it’s the reason they use to charge them but he’s the only one that I watch who says that. He’s a great judge, but he gets tight lipped fast! I’d be scared of him! Although he is nice with fees and things like that he’s just doing good things for his community they should be lucky to have them.. the beetle juice reference … he totally did that on purpose

Probable cause is a legal term to determine whether a crime has been committed. The Prosecutor reads out what happened that caused the defendant to be arrested, the crime they committed, etc. The judge after listening will determine whether a crime has in fact been committed and if there is enough evidence to move forward with the case. Just because a Prosecutor brings charges against someone, it doesn't always mean that they have a case. A judge has to determine that.

I think. Family's obliged to seek his release! But obligated to pay too , how is the sister gona put him on the straight ? Otherwise he wouldn't be there now. As if he had a solid family in the first place maybe he wouldn't be on charges of any kind. If you go looking for trouble you will find it , best not fall of the right path 🙏🏼 but everyone stumbles but it's how you re correct yourselves is most of the punishment, putting yourself back on a solid path takes a lot to do , it's hard but arnt all lessons hard!?!?
