I remember watching episodes of The Judge when I was a teenager at that time. And even though it was not real (meaning staged) at that time it gave us a lot of life lessons that most of the reality shows do not provide or even give us as of right now. So all in all this is a good show.

Just thought of something new: When Judge Franklin says, "If you shoot him, you'll be a murderer," that isn't necessarily true. He would be that if he killed Keith only. It wasn't that. It was to admit he did a bad thing and not deny it. Then he could start to turn his life around. Patrick never did that and in jail he kept denying the truth so when he got out, all he had on his mind was revenge.

And Franklin got to live more than just 'another 2 minutes'...he got to live for the rest of his life, and so did everyone else. Casey, on the other hand, got to spend 'another 2 minutes' confined to a mental facility. Mr. Casey, Judge Franklin had every reason to send you to the slammer, and he didn't *want* to, but if he *hadn't*... Who knows what lessons you would've learned!

I remember this show. One episode I remember in particular was about this boy named Wally that was mentally handicapped. At one point when he got called to the stand, he got so scared he started threating to beat up everyone including the judge but the judge didn't hold it against him because of his condition. Anybody by any chance got that episode that they could upload?

Been meaning to mention this too: When we see Franklin saying, "Janet, get on the phone...." look at the body of Patrick. He's not moving at all.

And get that ambulance here fast. Duh, what about the bomb? Isn't that a little more important?

New thought: After it was all over, I might've taken the briefcase after the bomb was disposed of.

That shot at 3:45 from the judge's point of view is really scary!

When Patrick says to Louis, "That's a good boy!" I thought maybe he'd pat Louis on the head as though he were petting a dog.

Do you have Victim of War? That also had one of the characters having a gun and shooting somebody.

As a Kid I confused this episode for The People's Court and I thought things went off the rails for real.

Nope.. unlike The People's Court, The Judge involved family court cases, while People's Court involved small claims cases. In addition, The People's Court had real litigants and real cases.

I only remember seeing the trailer for it with that narrator voice. Never saw the full episode for some reason.

Here's one more comment: I remember that prosecutor character. He was in love with this defense attorney who would always interrupt on cross examination the witnesses' answers, which does not happen in real life. Judge Franklin married them, they had a son, and asked Franklin to be the kid's godfather.
