Wonderful tutorial Merritt ! I’m going to grab all my Mom’s sewing scraps out and start making yo yo’s with them. Love the Christmas tree wall hanging you’ve made. I’m finally winding down from the wedding; babysitting my Granddog while the kids are on their honeymoon. He’s so funny and curious when I pull out my cross-stitch to see what I’m doing. I have some of those Clover makers in my sewing room, but had forgotten about them. Thanks for the tutorial because it had been a while since I used them. They really make it easy, and make a prettier more uniform yo-yo.

@@darlajines8482 Hi, Darla, I kid you not, as I was typing my reply to you this morning, I thought of you, because you are the only Darla I know - how fun that it is actually you! Regarding the question about attaching them...If you are making a coverlet with them, you can attach them with a small stitch, using a neutral thread color. I would try to make my stitch from the back, catching the edge of the yo-yo in the fold. Hope that helps. Happy Stitching!
