The reason why there's still men loyal to Jaina is because in the end she DID save their asses from getting OBLITERATED by the Legion and the Scourge. And they saw her fighting in Mount Hyjal. They weren't even from Kul'Tiras, most of them were from Lordaeron, and THEY fought alongside the Horde in Hyjal too. Some dude from a bygone era that wasn't even from their own kingdom probably wasn't enough to fuck their loyalty to her. She was the only reason they were still alive, and if they sided with Daelin they would've meet the same fate. It is true that they could've gone back to Eastern Kingdoms and just don't give a crap about Kalimdor ever again, dunno what happened there.

7:46 I always presumed that Jaina's forces in Theramore are her leftover army from mount Hyjal and the survivors of Stratholme wearing her family's crest rather than them being survivors of her father's army
@drekbleh70814 жыл бұрын
Something I just realised after rereading this The last fight against Jaina's dad had a failstate if you destroy certain buildings - those of her forces conceding to her father's orders due to well feudalism(you're my kid's vassals so you're mine too). This is important because the alliance and horde who fought together to save the world still persevered each other because they mutually valued one another - proving her dad wrong. That the horde wasn't some war mongering and blood thirsty bastards vying to kill and enslave everyone. He was too blind by old prejudices to see that. This narrative promotes awareness and understanding towards your most hated enemies - failing to do so strands his forces to patrol a hostile swamp. Bitter that the fastest(only?) Way home is in the hands of "traitors" ...then Garrosh just nukes theramore off the goddamn map with the proud howling of blood thirsty orcs-proving daddy Daelin was right... I hate modern Blizzard writing
@Regunes4 жыл бұрын

@@drekbleh7081 Spot on, Daelin fought in three long wars against the Orcs and knew only the Demon-Empowered Horde that came through the portal, lead by Blackhand, Gul'dan and eventually Orgrim Doomhammer. he was a veteran of so many past conflicts that he saw Jaina just being played by nature of her youth and naivety, he wasn't there to hear the words of Medivh or see what both factions fought for at mount Hyjal however. so he couldn't understand. in a twist of irony and rather sick humor he was proven right when the Horde switched Warchiefs. it took another Hellscream from Draenor to destroy the dream of peace that Jaina had held so dear and believed in for many years.
@foulmoodcentral28303 жыл бұрын
@@Regunes Garrosh was being affected by the old gods, his paranoid warmongering was spurred on by the need to prove himself a adequate Warchief, Thrall left him in charge but almost no-one thought he was up to the task at the time, he was deemed too young by the likes of Cairn, and too reckless and hungry for glory by the likes of Vol'Jin and Varok Saurfang. Garrosh was left a former powerstructure that he was inexperienced dealing with, (imagine being the youngest employee in a company and told by your old boss your in charge now whilst surrounded by his former colleages all wondering what the guy was thinking) throughout Cataclysm and early Mists Garrosh is remaking the Horde as he envisioned it and that was heavily influenced by the culture and stories of the Old Horde. in a sense incompatible with the Horde that Thrall had forged. and then the Sha of Pride happenend. at the beginning Garrosh was greatly ashamed and depressed when we first find him in Outland, not knowing his father's sacrifice and legacy. when Thrall told him everything and brought him back to Azeroth he developed the first beginnings of his immense pride that we all later know him for.

Yea, the new horde is basically turning into Alliance 2.0 due to the incesant crybabies in forums complaining that the horde was the "grey" faction, and not the purely good one. The horde was at it's coolest when it was a mixture between good and evil ideas.
@strider86624 жыл бұрын
@@simonsalgueiro6217 Horde wasnt a 'grey' faction back then, it was quite literally the black one. First horde is pretty much unforgivably antagonistic and evil. @@strider8662 Na, i would say it was grey. You had Thrall, who was trying to change orc society and Taurens, which are inherently good. That it did some questionable things doesn't change that the general feeling blizzard wanted to give regarding the alliance was the "gondor" treatment. But, yea, it definetly was much better.
