Great selection. I would also include Linda Marlowe in her white halter in "Big Zapper" (1973) and Shirley Eaton in "The Girl from Rio" and "The Million Eyes of Su-Muru".

Diana Rigg.. I was walking around behind her in the bar of the Aldwych Theatre on the first night of "Belcher's Luck". She stepped backwards for a moment as she chatted with her companions, and practically punched through the top my shoe with her stiletto heel. That was in 1967. You could say she had a crush on me. :-( Quite a tall girl, Dianna Rigg.

Nicely done. I must say I am biased toward Diana Rigg as Emma Peel. She was my first crush.

It was a favorite tactic of TV producers with "instrumental" themes, to write lyrics to the music, so they would be entitled to half the royalties for the composition.
@imfsresidentotaku96998 ай бұрын
Except this isn’t a case of that, but of lyricists writing words to an existing popular instrumental theme of the day for pop singers in order to capitalize on its success, as is the case with “The Great Escape March,” “Lara’s Theme”/“Somewhere, My Love” from Dr. Zhivago, “Beddy Bye”/“Strangers in the Night” from A Man Could Get Killed, and “Love Theme from The Godfather”/“Speak Softly, Love.” None of the Mission: Impossible producers are credited for the lyrics, not even series creator Bruce Geller, and Wikipedia makes no mention of anyone involved in the production adding words to Lalo Schifrin’s music. How about you do your research before accusing TV producers of employing your “favorite tactic”?
@alanr4447a8 ай бұрын
@@imfsresidentotaku9699 I didn't actually say that THEY did that. You might want to improve your reading comprehension before YOU attack someone!

I also "nearly" met Helen Mirren, when she was still at school and aged only 15. It is true to say she was a terrific actress, even then.... .... and I thought she would make a success of it if she became professional. Seems I was right, eh? ;-)
