The only regret I have in life is not playing golf on my Honeymoon 15 years ago. We stayed here for 6 nights and it was the nicest place on Earth. If we could only make it back one day, I am bringing my clubs!

The Bay course is so underrated! Plantation always gets the kudos, but the Bay tests every shot in the bag ! Between stopping at the Honolulu Store for some drinks on the course! For breakfast you have to hit up the Gazebo Maui right down the street !

Unfortunately, Ko'olau has closed down. Royal Hawaiian Golf Club (formerly called Luana Hills) is nearby, and is a similar type of course.

no way! my friends and I had that course on our list if we got to Hawaii over say, Dubai or UK with our "before we're too old to enjoy it" trip.. I'll have to pony up the big bucks for the Plantation course as the jewel of the trip if we go there, I guess. is Ko'olau being redeveloped or repurposed, or just growing wild?

@@MrPostman900 Mostly just growing wild. Not sure that a final decision has been made on what to do with the land. The church that uses the clubhouse owns the land. I did hear the pro who worked there has been maintaining the driving range and a few holes for his players to use, but it is not open to the public. I lost enough balls there over the years, that I hadn't played it much recently - but it was amazing to experience at least once, and too bad it is no longer available. Best wishes with the "before we are too old to enjoy it" golf trip!
