As far as MN pro Athletes go. KAT has one of the athletes that has embraced MN a lot. He has a different type of personality and gets a lot of criticism for his demeanor and the way he plays. Going outside on the coldest days of the year and shopping in town doesn't go plublic with negativity around contract time or ask to leave the team like other big names. While being a top efficient scoring 7footer. Uncommon and good traits.

It's bittersweet in the end... we know KAT seems like a good genuine person, and it shows with his dad at the games too. It's all coming down to financials and business Imagine if he wasn't paid as much, like a few million less/year... wouldn't be an issue.

too much gets made of these rumors. As a New Yorker who's also a Wolves fan, Knicks fans would riot if the Knicks acquired Towns and honestly, we don't really need what they have (including Randle). Any Towns to NY stuff died when Quickley was traded to Toronto. The most logical mock trade for KAT is KAT/Moore to BK for Simmons, Finney-Smith, and a pick, which is why I don't see KAT moved this summer. He's not the type of player that inspires confidence among other players and fans.

Karl is better than Jamal Murray 90% of the time… just happens that the 10% is in the playoffs. If we were to get the best of KAT in the playoffs, I think he’s good enough to be the #2 but I’m also not convinced he can get to that level in the playoffs for an entire post-season.

Im actually ok with them running it back, they just need to get their bodies ready for the long season. The new dads could finally just get some rest and family time, they really just wanted to be home with their newborns/infants instead of going into a deep Playoff run ( Hence the ANT comment of getting into the 2nd round only, not being in the WCF )

KAT, it’s tough to think about what it’s true that the most logical trade is him. The reason being is nobody on the team can really do what Rudy does for us. And naz he’s another big man who can do a lot of great things on both end of the floor. And we have Garza sitting on the bench who shows some capabilities when he plays. He just doesn’t play much. Trading AT for some kind of perimeter distributor and maybe a key role-playing three point shooter makes a lot of sense I hate saying that because I wanted to win a championship with the team we have. But looking through the off-season and thinking how can we get better? It sucks to say it but trading is probably better. KAT is the logical one.

KAT isn't getting traded. Outside of Dejounte Murray, I don't see any players that are attainable and a good fit. They will make some changes on the periphery and hope that developing the players they have will push them over the hump. I think this is the correct route.
