Okay, terrible joke aside, we can assume the first strike landed on her head, but we cannot guarantee that the successive strikes after the first one did. She would've started moving as a reaction to being struck, and therefore her head would become a much harder target. Several of the strikes had to have landed on her body, in which case she could very well still be conscious and in tremendous pain. It's not impossible. It might be improbable, but it's entirely possible.

@@BalboaBaggins it's not for life, unless you're wealthy & stupid enough to pay alimony..lol. child support ends when they reach 18 yrs old..or you're decent and always there for them. Take my own situation..went the uncontested route, shared custody, but still paid $300 monthly for 11yrs. I also bought the everyday things for my son. Although she was a money grubbing, greedy bitch, I gave her mostly all of our possessions, so it wouldn't become a contested divorce. I didn't want it turn into world war 3 and cause any added issues concerning my son's well being. I replaced everything I gave her. If you're a selfish, cold hearted mother fucker? Well, you can go the murder route...be my guess..lol! You'd become the prime suspect in any situation that related to your exe's demise..unless you had an iron clad murder plan? A psychopath or narcissist could likely pull off that caper, but I have a conscience and I wanted a better life. I never regretted splitting from that hoarder. Everything worked out pretty good too! My own happiness & sanity was more important to me than money & material possesions. By the time my son was 16, he was living with me permanantly. I still paid in to his college fund too. So more than likely, shit turned out much better than if I stayed for her abusive borderline personality disorder. I used to love her, but never liked her, if that makes since? That was over 28 yrs ago. I felt sorry for her then, but feel nothing today regarding her. She went on to remarry 2 more times. I never did. To each is their own. A very small percentage get away with premeditated murder, especially when it involves a marriage or couple living together. I'll be honest too. Did I think about doing that? Yes I did! But when your upset or angry, your mind csn drift into such uncharted territory. My feet landed back to reality and I knew couldn't live with killing the mother of my child. People see shit on television or a video game game, thinking they're smarter than anyone else..lol! I'm actually a kind and loving man & father. I have balls but I'm not a heartless shit bag. Some people snap and can't control their anger. I'm not that type. I also was raised to never physically abuse any female. I'll defend myself, but I'd never intentionally harm another human being. Self defense, hell yeah...it's him or me. I'm not going to tolerate shit from any man..lol! It's not worth a life behind bars either. You can talk shit, but until you walk the walk? Remember a few years ago when they rescued those three girls who were being held captive as sex slaves by the guy who'd go on to kill himself in jail eventually? They ended up taking one or all (can't remember) of those girls to a private concert hosted by none other than rapper Nelly, brought her out on stage and everything. Showed her nothing but love. That's probably on KZbin. That's what I wish I could impart on everybody, even the most jaded of people, that whether they realize it or not people do care. Sometimes people just convince themselves nobody could or would ever love them. Sadly.

“Krystal was so scared of Patrick”. That may be what she’s claiming but her actions show the exact opposite. She helped him plan MULTIPLE murder attempts that she could of easily gone to police at any point to not only protect herself from him, but save a life. She wasn’t scared of him. She wasn’t acting under duress. She lived states away and at any time during her drive to go clean up a murder scene, she could of went to the police and he would of been immediately arrested. She was so afraid of him that she cleaned the murder scene, but wasn’t too afraid to refuse to help burn the body?? Let’s quit acting like Krystal was a victim when she got off pretty much scott free. She deserves life as well. She helped plan these murder attempts, and knew about his plan from the jump. She wants to claim she couldn’t give Kelsey the poison coffee because she “couldn’t do it” but she still chose NOT to go to police when she had all the evidence she needed to convict him and knew Kelsey’s life was in danger.
@bettywith2girls5 жыл бұрын
A lot of people agree with you. Can't blame her about not wanting to deal with the dead body...it's one thing to clean up blood in a room...quite another to have your fingerprints and move a dead body that Patrick just blundeoned to death. The problem was that there was no body and without her testimony against him, saying what really happened, we would never have known and I guarantee you the murderer would have walked free. The prosecution needed her badly, so she got a light sentence to sing like a bird.

No one would have ever found out about this poor woman and what happened to her, except for the fact that Krystal was worried about her OWN skin, and the insurance money didn't pan out!!! There’s a video online of interrogation tactics (not in murder cases I don’t think) where the people were later found to be completely innocent and one guy is calm and rational and helpful the other guy emphatically and loudly and angrily explained his innocence as well. Neither made the least bit of difference. Once the police and the state and its infinite resources decide you did something it’s over and done. Layer up immediately especially when you are innocent and make no statements to the police without a lawyer present. You can still be helpful to the investigation and provide things like dna or whatever but I would do it all with a lawyer present. I doubt you will ever be in this situation but hey this is just my 2 cents worth. But in the one video the cops were like why are you so calm if you are innocent and in the other video why are you so angry if you are innocent just talk to us. All the while they build the case against them based on little to no evidence or witnesses who later completely recanted and admitted they lied and the guys were completely exonerated.

Aw her moms so cute, shes one of those old ladies wholl never really look old. What a strong woman. I do hope shes found some sort of comfort or outlet. You can tell she did all she could and then some. My heart always breaks most for the mothers.

I really love the way you present these cases. You’re always very respectful of the victims and you expertly keep the mood light for us when things get heavy. It’s a gift. Thank you for doing what you do.

I shop at that Safeway, and I worked in that court house. I didn't live in Woodland Park at the time but lived there before and after. Its a sad story, and I hope the family has found peace.

@@joshrees1591 Josh I am so sorry to hear that, just about the worst news you can receive. He's lucky to have a human who loves him and treats him right ( sadly in today's world not enough fur babies have that love) which makes it that much harder to say goodbye. I will keep you both in my thoughts and am sending love and light your direction ❤. Know that he loves you more than anything else.

there's something to be said for the way mike makes light jokes while describing a tragedy without being disrespectful toward the victim.not easy to do,but well done.

Mike, I have to say that being interested in true crime I’ve found several channels and yours is my favorite. You are thorough, speak to the viewers as if each one of us is in a room with you. You skillfully lower the tension with wry humor and never give the plot away. I do also love your accent. I’ve been binging this channel for a couple of weeks and I’m hooked! Thanks for the great videos

Creating a vigil without knowing the victim is so selflessly compassionate. “It was just the right thing to do.”

@@clray123 What's wrong with showing support and compassion? You sound like a lovely person.
@clray1234 жыл бұрын
@The S.E.S.H Collective Well, guess what's wrong, praying to a non-existent sky-daddy DOES NOT WORK, as demonstrated in this case. But it sure wastes people's time that could be spent on more helpful activities. Like actual support and compassion for the affected persons.

Or attention seeking. Sorry if that sounds cynical but unfortunately, too often the cynical answer is the true one.
