The appeal for me was that Islām not only appeals to spirituality but also reason. Other religions generally just present spiritual experiences as a way to validate their religions, but this is too subjective, while Islām also gave logical proofs along with the spiritual experience, so there is an objective grounding.

What is the logical proof of Islam that invalidates other religions?

@@enzocompanbadillo5365 mainly the proofs that demonstrate tawhīd. Contingency argument shows that there is a necessary being. Burhan tamayuz shows that there can only be one necessary being. This invalidates polytheistic religions. Since God is necessary, incarnation is impossible since this would effectively render God as contingent, thus disproving religions that believe that God incarnates, like Christianity, Hinduism, etc… the last thing would probably be Judaism or Islām since their conception of God is almost entirely the same. The Quran is preserved but the Jewish Tanakh is not. Furthermore, the Quran contains multiple miracles such as prophecies and gives information that could not have been known by humans. In summary, 1) Islam (and maybe Judaism as well) has the correct conception of God 2) Its scripture is preserved unlike other religions 3) The Quran contains miracles

@@The-Last-Rain Judaism is also a tribal religion - and not a universal one , they do not believe in the equality of humans - they regard jews as chosen and above all humans by birth not by action !!!

I'm an extremely lazy person. In my younger years, if I could have found a way to disprove Islam I would have, just to fit in with my non Muslim friends. But once I found there is no rational way to reject Islam, I started concentrating on my prayers. Eventually I discovered they are actually a spiritual form of meditation to connect with the Creator. As my prayers improved I fell in love with Islam, it was no longer just a rational thing. And now I would fight anyone who would try to take it away from me.

I think this can tie into LGBT and how that takes people out of religion. For many Christians or others, they can't fathom why such a thing would be prohibited. But even as a kid, I thought that was no different than the prohibition on eating pork
