Well said. People take simplicity and think its just someone being paid tons of money for something most think can be done in 5min. But the 5min comes with experience and is tailor made for the client to be the most usable without needing to change it after. Thats why so many companies went back to the nostalgic 80s retro look...it is easy and attractive and hard to mess up in print

Fun fact: in the master logo he not only changed the typo he changed the Icon to he removed small part of it, he cut it so it get more compact and changed the scaling. Sound like a small change but if you combin it with the more geometic typo you getting a better composing. You see it not only the Typo.

i like the master one best but the top icon should be scaled down imo a bit so it doesn’t compete for hierarchy with the name. Name is most important, in fact i bet you could combine the two put the icon in the “O” and angel it to match the “A”s slant and the nit would be one cohesive image 🤔

Stroke weight on your “master” ‘A’ is too light. Feels weaker than the adjacent letters.
