I think yall got switched thumbnails for the forehand and backhand video

Great forehand. Very smooth and effortless. He uses a form very similar to Fed in grip and stroke. It's a style that leads you to an attacking all-court game. I've watched his matches on-line and he's a great talent. Thanks for the video.

Anyone know what they meant by the "thick grip" & "thin grip" comments? By the looks of it I think by "thick" they mean more closed/semi-western, but not sure
@socrs Жыл бұрын
Yep, correct. Thick more towards western, thin the other way towards eastern/continental

To whomever is doing the English subs: “mock” doesn’t mean copy or imitate. You’ve made this mistake several times. Also, the quality of the subs has deteriorated since the old videos, which is a shame, as there is a lot of interesting content that gets lost from us non Japanese tennis fans
@af02271 Жыл бұрын
Bro, English isn't their first language. I'm just glad there's English subs at all so this content is shared with us. You still know what they mean to say, so why does it matter if the English isn't perfect?
@Gyswandir Жыл бұрын
@@af02271 because some videos are rendered meaningless. Hence, my regret that the quality is subpar, as I believe it would be valuable to understand what actual ATP players say about technique

It's good to give constructive feedback. The other subtitle in some of their vids that was confusing at first is "thin" or "thick grips" --> Thin = Towards Continental, Thick = Towards Western.

@@rds4629in Asia, they call semi western type grip thick. It’s like that in Korea also
