Money actually played 2s smart in that he popped the ball up a lot of the time which gave Squishy free reign to drain the enemy of their boost on defense and potentially make a goal out of it. Less boost = more panic. It also helps that Money's basically a pro lol

Squishy is right about score not mattering. Score is like an indication that you played good but it doesn't take into account good positioning, rotations, chances created, passing, etc. There's a lot of valuable passive 3rd man players who don't get high scores

Literally me smh. I see the play falling apart or my teamates just going fast up field just to throw the ball away, get spammed with "take the shot!" and as soon as I move an inch past midfield its too late to defend because I'm left in a 2v1 or a 3v1 either trying to fight for my life to dodge demos, or the other team has the perfect passing play that scores on me. Lets not forget the flood of "What a save!" from my teamates and the opposing team. I'm Champ 1 division 2-3 on average, division 4, borderline champ 2 when peaking. I'm really trying to improve my game sense but I often question my style of play often. I try to play like a fullback in real soccer but most of the time regret it.

Appreciate the preaching on the bias of the point system in RL. Tip: Just turn access to score board off and you don't think much of it after that (not that it will shut up random toxic team mates though). Your analysis of what you called 'individual style' vs. a more team orientated style was spot on. Fun incident from game though at 11:02 where you later said you didn't know what to do, shouldn't the team based play style have resulted in a pass to your team mate? Hey Squish, You, Garrett, and Justin are still the most powerful team, and mind you yes everyone has gound a way to get better and show up, but you guys still hold an edge over the rest in skills, as individuals. Tf? He does play that way. The only difference is that he's playing 3's with a full lobby of top tier pros. Taking your time and looking for the pass doesn't work anymore. I also don't know why I have to keep saying this, but Squishy isn't the reason why they're losing. If you actually watched the games, you'd see who causes the hiccups almost every time they get scored on...

I agree that playing for your teammates is the best approach. Why go for a 1v2 or risk a bad touch when your tm can go for a 1v0? Plus passing plays/fakes are the most fun in my opinion.

I play with my friend in doubles who is champion 1 and I'm plat so i mostly try to make team plays to help him score so i used to playing for the team and knowing where on the field I should be. My main problem is the mechanics of moving my car such as dribbling or air shots. I just rotate and spin in random directions most of the time and pray I hit the ball right lol.

I have a lot of games where my teammates get high points. But it keeps happing and even when my teammate becomes my opponent , my current teammate geits high points. I am easy to carry 🤣 because I have a really good sense of when to stall for my teammate and when to pressure and I give my teammates a lot of free balls, open nets and 1v1s. I am actively making it as non-akward as possible and usually guys at my rank are able to pop off. Want to get better at the popping off part myself though. Don't think I need it to grind up , but it does help and seems like a lot of fun , scoring clips and stuff.

What would u recommend? I’m a D2 player. Understand high lvl gameplay/do well in high lobbies. Mechanics need work. Ovl great player. Can 2v1 and win vs my rank and low champ ranks. Idk why I’m stuck. I just believe that it’s bad tm8s. Any tips will be helpful.

If your in diamond stop blaming teammates it also means your not as good as you think. I jumped on smurf the other day and went from diamon to c3 in a couple hours and I'm a trash champ player. You need to get better at the game before you have the right to blame tms. I'm talking minimum 2000 mmr

I am C1 in 2s and I honestly have poor mechanics (no speed flip, air dribbles, flip resets, etc). Queuing with a partner is great, but learning to play around different teammates and styles is huge. If you can 2v1, you most likely need to play a little more safe and choose your opportunities when a teammate is covering/you can recover quickly. Also always stay composed and if that is tough, maybe try turning off chat for a bit. Watching champ and GC gameplay would probably help a lot, but I don't do that and always hop into ranked without practicing. I'm sure if you practice you can get a lot higher ranked than me
