With what we know know, do u think all of the allies looking for sora and Kairi having her heart checked, Riku's dreams, and Riku going to Quadadrum through the Nameleas Star, with Luxord helping to revive Sora, do u think its wasted cause the Wild Card might just save him, not the people

One of the things I realised about Luxord is that he is not evil. Everything he does is about games of chance and even when being a villain, he fights “fair”. Which leads me to believe he is neutral but had a fondness for sora. He is definitely more important than he lets on.

If I can enter this conversation, he seems to be someone who is aware that he is a pawn in a much larger game. He seems to be aware that his leaders are keeping secrets from him and he seems to try and play the game to the best of his ability. Maybe he thinks he cannot fight against his role, maybe not. I do think that he does admire Sora. He seemed to be happy that he lost to a superior player which is probably how he assumed he would fall anyway. He is an interesting person, I would like to see him reappear in a future game. Who knows, maybe he and Sora can have a rematch without stakes involved next time. He does fight fair in a sense, people stated that he cheated in the race by summoning heartless and fighting, but he only stated that the first one to Port Royal wins. He never set specific rules against fighting or calling for help which is why the game doesn't punish Sora for attacking Luxord's ship during the race. Just my opinions, I hope I don't offend anyone.

@@lordofcreativity9637 technically speaking luxord does play an important role in kh series since he belongs in the same era as ventus, marluxia and some of the other organization members who were in the dandelions. It seems like Xehanort is aware of Luxords perspective in all of this but doesnt fully know the role hes playing in all of this.

@@Alex-xv1jh It seems that this is the case for many people involved in this universe. It is getting difficult at times to tell who is the manipulator and who is being manipulated. It would seem that everyone has a partial idea of the big picture, but even Luxu doesn't seem to have the entire story. The only person who seems to completely understand what is going on is this master of masters whom Luxu seems to take orders from. At this point, we don't know exactly what their full significance will be but I doubt that anyone other then the master of masters really understands the situation. Even the wisest individuals such as Yen Sid appear to be blindsided in this regard. Makes me curious to see what will happen next, although I imagine that first we will need to find a way to get Sora back.

I honestly hope to see how she ties in, within the next game. Theory: Sora is supposedly dead or something like purgatory I guess. Riku ends up in the world the same world as Sora. Maleficent wants the black box blah blah blah. Sooooo, to get what she wants she may just recruit Riku, who ultimately would do anything to save Sora. So I foresee some kind of collaboration between them. Possibly by trickery? But I'm concerned. The card Sora has may be the key to HIS survival... What about Riku though?

This is rather interesting. I am glad he makes these video's. If I can give my opinions on Xehanort, given his reach over the events of previous games there are a number of ways he can continue to be a shadow in events. He could have people emulating him, he could have people who used to prepare for something bigger, he could be an example of how not to let good intentions run away from someone. I think the most obvious aspect is this; he will remain a shadow on everyone's minds because he has changed things for them forever. Before the worlds pretty much didn't know about each other, they were separate, there was not much travel between them, they were not in as much danger as far as we know. Xehanort changed all that, his actions ended up affecting countless worlds and people in ways that cannot be taken back. He probably assumed that once he started things off on a clean slate, none of the changes he made, people he hurt, or worlds he destroyed would matter. Here is the thing though, he didn't succeed, the slate was not wiped clean, and while he may be gone now, the mess he left behind is not. I am sorry if that seems harsh, but that is the truth. The heartless are not going to stop being a threat just because he is gone, Maleficent and Pete are still running around, and Luxu can move to the next step of whatever plan he has cooking inside his head. Xehanort may no longer be a threat, but the impact of his actions still hangs over this universe. Just how I see it.

Let's say that after KH3, Shibuya came back as a sleeping world once Xehanort was defeated in KH3 and Joshua, being the sort of omnicient being he is, plucked Sora from the Realm of Death as this was going on. Riku, through Ventus's Chirithy or some other means hears what Sora heard about sleep and death touching, and decides to go after Sora through the Realm of Sleep, where Joshua picks him up as well. Spoilers for TWEWY below Joshua spends TWEWY trying to destroy Shibuya. I believe this will take place after the original game and Joshua will be trying to save Shibuya and using Sora and Riku to do so. This is backed up by the fact that in 3D, Joshua saved Neku (who was his proxy and supposedly the worst person in Shibuya according to Joshua) and the fact that Joshua seemed relatively concerned about the fact that it was gone. So Joshua uses the two of them against the MoM, who is likely a conductor (Joshua's (who is the composer) 2nd in command). What happens is that the MoM gained favor with the Angels (Joshua's bosses) and the two of them bet a reaper game on the MoM's impending promotion. After his defeat, the MoM finds his way into the Realm of Sleep, and that's his ticket back into the KH world. Any thoughts? Quick edit: I still am going with my theory that Luxord is Brain and he made his way through the generations in a similar way to Luxu while the rest of the KHUX crew pulled off the Maleficent trick. Ephemer stays behind, receives No Name, him and Brain fight over Kingdom Hearts. Brain wins and takes No Name. He carries out the duties of No Name, but he also passes down the idea to reset the world (see Xehanort's plan). Ephemer ties himself to the keyblades of the fallen the same way Terra tied himself to his armor. Brain and Luxu are unaware of each other after Brain passes down No Name and they end up in the same place.

I would be interested in this fanfiction as well. I used to read them while I was waiting for this game and read some rather interesting ones. I still read them as a matter of fact, I plan on binge reading them soon. It is part of why I was both shocked and surprised to see Davy Jones here, it seems he is a popular villain to those who write Kingdom Hearts fanfictions. That being said, I have often been surprised by fanfiction writers who are able to predict certain details of certain stories. I sometimes wonder if they are clairvoyant or if they just have good intuition. If you could give me the name of the fanfiction I would like to read it if you please.

@the1bigbadwolf Here’s a theory regarding that which I posted awhile back so give it a read. Here’s what we learned about Luxu from the Secret reports: As we know from Back Cover, the Master of Masters tasked Luxu to pass down his “no name” Keyblade to his apprentice and then him to his. He was to do this throughout the generations and generations to come. And according to the secret reports, The first person to receive this Keyblade was none other than one of the members of the Union leaders. This means it had to be either Ephemer, Skuld, Ventus, Brain, or Lauriam who got the No Name Keyblade. My money is on Ephemer honestly. After doing this, Luxu then began his quest to “watch” everything unfold from the sidelines. He was to do this until one of the chosen wielders of his Keyblade began to act on their own and set off to open Kingdom hearts. But of course, Luxu couldn’t do his watching forever. He isn’t immortal after all. So in order to solve this problem, he did EXACTLY what Xehanort did to Terra and Riku. He possessed the bodies of random people to serve as his new vessel, in order to live longer. Whether it being years, centuries, or millennials, all he could do was to “wait” for the chosen one to arrive, no matter how many bodies it takes. And fortunately for him, Xehanort DID comply as he was obsessed with bringing balance to both light and darkness. So here’s how it likely went down: Once Luxu set his eyes on Xehanort, he took him under his wing (of course, in a different body) and trained him the ways of being a keyblade weilder. This means that Xehanort and Eraqus’s Master was actually Luxu, and that it was HE who passed down the No Name keyblade. So this would likely mean that Luxu pretended to die from old age as his pupils began to continue his legacy. Once Xehanort began his quest to open Kingdom Hearts (more about that later in this post), Luxu then immediately began to possess his latest vessel; the man we know as “Braig”, and pretended to be a thug desperate for Xehanort’s Keyblade. By acting as his ally, Luxu could keep watch on his Keyblade and guide Xehanort towards the right direction. That being the direction of opening Kingdom hearts. Now to avoid confusion, let me explain Braig’s true nature. To us, we have never actually met the real Braig or have seen his true personality. Because in reality, Braig could have been just like the other apprentices to Ansem. A guy that wanted to help people by researching the Heart. However, one day out of the blue Luxu comes along and possesses his body, and steals his name as his own; thus ripping him off his ability to live. This means the man we know as “Braig” basically died long before we even met him. Now here’s a bit of a theory I want to add onto this. As a Keyblade weilder, Xehanort became obsessed with the ancient Keyblade war and wanted to enact a 2nd one. Xehanort believed that this would bring peace to the worlds as it would bring a balance between light and darkness. But here’s the thing; I believe this was part of the Master of Masters plan all along. Ask yourself. Why did the Master of Masters cause the original Keyblade war in the first place?? Because when you watch Back Cover, it’s pretty obvious that the MoM tricked the Foretellers into fighting each other by using the Lost page (which said a traitor was among them). But sadly, we never got our answer as to WHY the Master did all that. Well now I think I have our answer. I believe the MoM wanted a catastrophic event to fall into the pages of history. After all, an ancient event like this would surely cause people from the future to become curious, and that is EXACTLY what the MoM wanted. The MoM knew that one day a young man (Xehanort) in the future would become obsessed with the ancient tale of the Keyblade war. The Keyblade war would urge this individual’s curiosity and would motivate him to open the door to Kingdom Hearts. And once again, this is EXACTLY what the MoM wanted. Now to make sure everything was going down smoothly, the MoM gave Luxu 2 roles: 1. Luxu was to pass down his keyblade from generation to generation. By doing this, the Master of Masters could see EVERYTHING unfold in the past through the Gazing Eye. This means that every single moment where the Gazing eye is present, the MoM was able to see it all. This is what allowed the Master to write the Book of Prophecies. And it’s not just that. It also allowed the Master to keep track on Luxu’s progress. 2. Luxu was to help guide the “chosen one” along to accomplish the ultimate goal: Open kingdom hearts. He was also supposed to keep an eye on him and his Keyblade. Meaning if Xehanort wasn’t doing what he was aimed to do, Luxu was very likely supposed to abandon him and find a new “chosen one”. Or rather, posses his body out of punishment and find someone else to do the job. It’s very possible that this could have happened many times prior to Xehanort. Now after both of his roles was done, he would then meet up with his other allies (the Foretellers) and was to wait for their Master’s return. As to how he will return, it’s very likely gonna have something to do with the Black Box. As to what that is, who knows??? But here comes the next big question. Who was the Traitor back in the original keyblade war?? Well, considering one of the Foretellers is absent in the epilogue, I think that’s pretty obvious. The traitor is most likely Ava. But wait, how does that make any sense??? Well, I believe Master Ava realized the Master of Masters true intentions. And whatever those intentions may be, they most likely were bad ones. Thus, Ava decided to betray her other friends and the Master. But here’s the interesting part: unknown to her, The Master of Masters took advantage of her actions. Remember, the Foretellers found out a traitor existed on the lost page. The lost page was from the Book of Prophecies. And as we’ve already stated, the Book of Prophecies has the events of the future written on it (thanks to the Luxu’s role with the Gazing eye). This means the Gazing eye most likely saw the traitorous actions of Ava in the future, meaning the Master of Masters saw everything. Now Instead of confronting Ava about her inevitable betrayal, the MoM decided to take advantage of her actions. He told Gula that a traitor was among them (even though the traitor hadn’t even existed yet at that point in time m). He did this with the intention of Gula and the Foretellers accusing each other and causing the Keyblade war. And as I’ve already stated, the Master of Masters wanted that war to happen so that Xehanort thousands of years later would seek out kingdom hearts.

I feel like people think that since it's the "end" of the Xehanort Saga, that means he'll never be alluded to and everyone will just forget he ever existed in future installments. I think all the "Xehanort Saga" means is that Xehanhort has been the main thorn in our asses throughout most of the series, but now that he's admitted defeat, we can finally focus on a new slew of villains, that being the Foretellers, Luxu, and the MoM. (Speaking of which I'm interested in knowing how they plan to vilify the Foretellers, assuming they do so. They don't really seem like your typical bad guys) Anyway I have a feeling that future installments will at the very least have some flashbacks to Xehanort before he turned to darkness and all that jazz, hell I feel like it's inevitable. With Daybreak Town being sunken under Scala Ad Caelum, which was where I assume Xehanort and Master Eraqus trained, they'll have to allude to Xehanort and even Eraqus at some point. Hell Re:Mind already plans on showing pre amber eyes Xehanort interacting with the MoM. It's clear the MoM had some sort of influence on Xehanort and his sense of duty. Perhaps the MoM gave Xehanort a "role" just like everyone else, in order to make sure everything wrote in the Book of Prophecies played out as it was foretold. KH3 won't be the last time we see Xehanort, and definitely not the last time we hear about him. He just won't be playing the main antagonist role anymore. I was honestly hoping the intro to KH3 would have us playing as a younger Xehanort and showing what lead up to him turning to the darkness. But I guess with the revelation that the MoM had some influence on Xehanort when he was younger, it makes sense why Nomura decided to hold off as I'm sure he wants to save those juicy bits for when the MoM becomes the main focus.

Okay so..... If you think about it.. Luxord’s wild card is the thing that is essentially keeping Sora “alive” (keeping in mind that Nomura said the card could be the key to revive Sora and if that wild card is what sends Sora to the Reapers game). If I remember correctly, chirathy (I’m sure I’m not spelling that right) told Sora in the Final World that if the next time he were to end up in the Final World again, he would not be able to return this time. So basically Luxord’s card is a way for Sora to cheat that permanent death. So why would Luxord give Sora the chance to beat permanent death? Now after seeing the DLC trailer, Luxord is pretty obviously an important character. If he’s a nobody then who is his original somebody? (Or was that said some where? I’m not entirely caught up with all the details especially when it comes to Union Cross segment) What if it’s one of the Lost Masters? Just as Xigbar is Luxu

Honestly, I loved Luxord's character since day 1. Like... he's super neutral and not even actually much of an antagonist. Also, like Xigbar/Luxu... He's been getting increasing screentime after his initial appearance. Xigbar was shady af from the get go... And the way he talked in KH2 and later games *scresmed* 'I know more than I'm gonna tell you'. Luxord was more subtle in his rise to importance. But that ReMind trailer is kind of... suspicious. Also.... Why is Ven the only person from Union X who *isn't* an adult in the present timeline. That's been bothering me for awhile. It's like time literally stopped for him and him alone... and maybe Skuld too.

Keyblade Armors are tied specifically to their respective Keyblade, so the Keyblade Armor Xehanort was wearing in Kingdom Hearts 3 is No Names Armor which is why he turns into a goat.

I think you missed the part where I mentioned that Keyblade Armors are tied to their respective Keyblade. Aqua's Keyblade Armor that she wears is tied to Rainfall/Rainfell which is currently (as far as we know) residing in the Chamber of Repose in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. The Keyblade she was using from her time in the Realm of Darkness up until KH3 was Master Defender that was a different Keyblade.

I was under the assumption that Scala Et Caeum was just a part of Xehanort's heart- a vision of the world he wanted to create, built upon his memories of Daybreak Town [or rather 'Cable Town', as it was previously referred to as pre-KHIII's release], similar to how Xemnas' 'Fake Kingdom Hearts' was a warped impression of The World That Never Was.

That might be true! But, if so, there might be a possibility that the X-Blade Sora has now, might be what's on the black box. After all, Luxu's role ended ONLY after Xehanort gave sora the X-Blade, and No Name came back to him. Just imagine a young Luxu, watching the keyblade war being fought for the very thing that he, an observer, already has. Not only that, but he has to see it come full circle. The MoM knew he would carry out the role, which means that MoM knows sora at least until KH3, so, that would mean Sora himself might be the key of MoM's retuuuurn? Maybeee? But if so, why choose this method? And what does he want?

Personally, I don't think that Sora is playing the Reaper's Game. I don't think he's "dead" either. While yes, The World Ends With You can definitely play a role in the alternate Tokyo, it's implied to be Yozora's reality, a different dimension that is separate from the one, where Disney worlds exist. You can see hints in the Verum Rex promotional material and with the way the MoM makes a heart symbol and directs it at the Moon in alternate Tokyo/Shibuya(means that he wants to connect the reality that he, Sora, Yozora and Riku are in through Kingdom Hearts). If the theory that Brain is Luxord is right, then the "revival" can mean letting Brain navigate to where Sora is, and that's why Riku may have been able to land there too.

If Nomura wanted to dive into Xehanort's motivations and his perspective. He should have just put that in KH3. I mean why not? If the whole game we are learning why Xehanort started the whole war thing it would give new context to the ens game fight. Every little thing doesnt need a new game (re:coded should have just been a reconnect honestly) . At the end I didnt really see why Xehanort's goal was necessary, it was just something about darkness or something. Why did he have to do all this? He hurt a lot of people. This game should have delved into that why and be presented to Sora so he could view Xehanort's dilemma and form his own opinion.
