These are stacking formations for serve receive. The receiving team is on OFFENSE, not defense. Defense happens in transition, when players move to their designated position.

You can but then play 4 2 to do it with 2 setters that change or 6 0 to have every1 as a setter and every1 as a hitter the possition u explained is 6 0

You are incorrect. All international and national volleyball rules allow this. Front row and back row players can change positions and be located anywhere on the court as long as they don't overlap the player DIRECTLY adjacent to them in the rotation. In other words you cannot be further left than the player directly to your left or further forward than the player directly ahead of you. However there is no overlap rule with players that are NOT directly adjacent to you.

look at 3:14 she change the service line up and the players aren't set up right and at 4:28 she change the left back in line with the middleback. You can change whatever but you never can change the service line up

I know I'm 8 months late, both there's nothing wrong with either of these formations. At 3:14, the outside isn't crossing the middle or the setter. At 4:28, the left back simply needs to keep one foot to the left of the setter that is pushing up.

5 - 1 is not the "most popular" system in volleyball... is the ONLY real way to play volleyball at a high level that makes any sense. Is not a "popularity" based decision or approach, is the most efficient system to play. I am not sure if this coach said that because it is female volleyball but I never have seen 6 - 2 been played after 9th grade in male volleyball. The only reason that a male team would ever play 6 - 2 would be because it has the best setter in ever that are also the best monster hitter in the team. Even then, 6 - 2 would be messing because EVERYBODY in competitive volleyball ONLY plays 5 - 1. There is a reason there are not 2 QBs on the field at the same time in football.
