Hi captain , anything anyone can buy at this price with a camera , to me is a plus cause there were times when you had to spend a fortune for a drone with a reasonable camera and these days we still take it for granted and wanting more for the price , it was total headache with Mods and stuff just top get this close to what you can get now for that price , even if it only goes 300 feet . Thanks to this video I decided to enter into the world of flying drones and drones in general. I don't know about other makes and models too much but what my KF101 siurvived already is very impressing. After learning quickly the basic moves then use of camera I went right into difficult pitch filming over water streams with dense vegetation on the banks. Really tight space for flying and making video recordings. I guess I must be very lucky that the gimball still works after a few crashes. After one particular occured after low battery automatic moves. Started climbing right into the branches of a tree above then fell 50ft onto drift wood and rocks covered with moss. Seemingly the first post-crash test is succesful. Very informative videos, deffo going to see more of your reviews as I am at pole position to extend my fleet.

The video from this drone looks very similar to that of the SJRC F11 4K Pro. But that display on the remote (like all of MJX drones so far) should be what most budget drones have, having the distance and altitude on the remote is extremely useful, and is quite viewable in direct sunlight.

I've also got the 1km model and I've actually had a day where I got 4000 meters one flight with no video transmission or controller communication issues! Good morning Steve from NB I have made up my mind several times over the past year on what drone I will buy, but then my dream gets bashed for that unit by a poor review from someone. I am beginning to think that some reviewers bad mouth a drone due to a bad experience which I am suspicious was had due to "pilot error". Maybe the calibration was not done correctly, maybe they didnt take the time to read the manual, or misunderstood the manual due to translations...that would be easy to do in many cases. Anyway, I am sticking to your reviews because I am sure you have the experience and knowledge of drone flying backing you, it is quite evident that you know the unit you are reviewing, also - you pull no punches when you hit a not-so-good drone, and you present your reviews with professionalism yet always seem to be able to inject the review with tidbits of humor. This all results in a good watch by the viewers. For these reasons plus the fact that I am a new pilot to the world of droning therefore a descent entry level drone is what I need, I have decided on the KF101. Technology is technology and I have been involved with technology as my 20-years of employment in the telephone industry prior to retirement therefore I fully realize that in that world things can and do run amok. For that reason, I will lay no blame on you should I be unfortunate enough to buy a dud. 😮😅 Keep up your great work

Thanks for the comments! Your KF101 should perform no different than what you see in my video review, under all the same circumstances. I should also mention that no drone is perfect, or else I'd only have one. The reviews who are negative usually come off that way because they looked at the 100 things about the drone and spent 20 minutes focusing on the 5 negative aspects vice the 95% good aspects. Those reviewers, for the most part, will have a small following vice a larger channel like mine.

I bought this drone based on this video, my first drone, so for the money I figured it would be a good beginner drone, 1 of the 3 batteries came DOA :( other than that no major issues. SD Format is not Mac compatible. I would recommend it as a beginner drone

Yeah, that's what you just can't find easily, if you can at all. Budget drones don't usually get in-depth reviews, because reviewers are all used to much, much better aircraft, so nobody even thinks of checking that.

The DNA of SJRC F11 4K Pro is obviously on this drone. The app is even created by the same developer for SJRC. The giveaway is the LED lamps, arms, and the rear end :). Anyway, it's pretty darn good for a budget drone at the price range

Had my first flight with mine today - indoors - NOPE, it lifted off and immediately drifted backwards into a wall 8) Outdoors, were pretty good, it managed to make headway into a blustery headwind OK, so over 15-20- minutes I stayed on manual and got the hang of the controls, with two or three good soft landings. However having an issue with the app on my iPhone, with the phone going to sleep while I thought it was recording video. First impressions, fairly good for a complete novice like me. Also the version of the remote I got has USB-C, USB Micro and Lightning cables to connect the phone, so you don't have to rely on the wifi connection.

Please note that all entry level drones that have optical flow for positioning (camera on the bottom) require very bright light in a room in order to fly indoors or else the drone will not lock on to anything and will then drift due to the movement of air it causes.

SG906 Pro 2 is better, better camera, as I can see, the photo maked by KF101 is sucks. People says that SG908 have too many defects, that's why 906 is the best choice

@@Ken-wz9vy Prices went up significantly last months for all drones. I paid 155 Euro for my F11 4k Pro. Cheapest I can find now is around 200-250 Euro . Just make sure you watch multiple honest reviews showing all the features before buying anything. Or save up for a Mini SE or soon to come Zino Mini SE. Small drones make sense. You can fly them at more places. For example the SG108 Pro with two-axis gimbal is a fun drone with good GPS. But the video is kinda shaky. You may want to put it on your list anyway. Just don't expect DJI quality.

Impressive little drone for the (offer price) money. For someone just getting in to the hobby and on a relatively tight budget it might be worth consideration, although the RTH might have them worried.🍻😁👍

Unfortunately drones under $250 US rarely have a parts store so that means batteries are usually not available. You could try eBay.

Hey Capt., I was able to find a replacement battery. After trying the drone I discovered one prop isn't working. Contacted the company I bought it from & they tell me it's out of warranty. Extremely disappointed to say the least. I'm waiting to hear back to see if they'll repair it. Are there places that repair drones in the event I have to repair it myself?

I've still got my Mavic air one, But my thoughts are these days there's a lot of really good drones on the market , DJI is still king I think in the intended price range ... But , From what I'm seeing the other manufacturers are catching up really quickly , It won't be to long and DJI will be knocked of there pedistal .... I think DJI are Meeh, Over priced , And yes we all know they are , These manufacturers catching them up fast , For the price this drone looks to be a good condender over the Mavic mini or mini 2 .
