Thank you. Its gets really confusing studying eastern European genealogy w DNA results. Especially for an American like me that knew nothing at all about central Asia, Turks, Scythians or khazars. I was shocked to see loads and loads of Hungarian blood and going back to King Laudislaus. I started my journey when ancient DNA said I was gok Turk and khazar. Trying to cram 3000 yrs of tribal eurasian nomad history! 🎉

There can be only two of these possibilities. The Magyars were a tribe of the Onogur Turkic confederation, or a tribe of Ugric people that migrated from the Urals southwards and ended up sandwiched between the numerous Turkic tribes in the region and became Turkified until the great migration towards modern day Hungary.
