that dude goes to the same country club as my dad in KC, one day I was playing golf with a friend and he is new to golf so we were a tad slow. I'm not talking turtle speed but just below average. A group of old dudes caught up to us and we told them to pass us by and they politely declined. The next hole we are putting and they start yelling at us out of nowhere to get off the green (par 3) and I turn around and yell at them to f off and gave them the double finger. I was promptly met by the golf superintendent on a cart telling us to leave. Apparently that was Jan Stenerud and his group, and I am not allowed to yell back at them regardless of circumstance. They forced me to write an apology letter so that my dad wasn't kicked out of the club. My ex girlfriend wrote the letter for me bc i couldnt get myself to do it. That guy sucks. I am a chiefs fan though so I am deeply conflicted but I still really dont like the guy

Actually what fixed the issue was Dustin Colquitt calling out the holder for the issues. As soon as that was done, suddenly Butker was back to not missing.

Not accurate..Sure there are games where Townsend's ball wasnt a perfect hold. But if youre a Chiefs fan, Townsend actually helped Butker. All Chiefs fan know this guy was special especially after his 2nd year. Since Townsend became his holder, Butker has been really consistant every year, even the 2022 season where he injured himself. Colquitt was only talking about 1 game where they lost cause of missed kicks.

The key to blocking long FGs is to prevent penetration in the middle. If you noticed, it went between to hands, which isn't unusual for a kick from that distance.

I'm going to be so mad if they don't re-sign him after his current contract. Even if they have to make him the highest paid kicker, that would still be way less than average players at other positions. And he's proved he's worth it. With a lesser kicker Chiefs might not have even made it to the playoffs last season, let alone won the Super Bowl.

I'm hoping so too!! Tommy Townsend was so good at pulling down high snap's and getting them set up in time. Harrison carried the offense in scoring points while they were figuring things out and the defense was keeping the other team locked down. I really think last year was the best display of having to play as a team as I've seen yet.

He was beyond solid last year. He was as reliant as you can be. Hopefully KCs offense is better and gives this man a lighter workload next year.

and then the Chiefs let the holder (the punter) go in free agency. One third of the 3 man team on field goals and extra points just let go. Not a smart move as the holder is key. Let's hope and pray the new punter will also be excellent in his place kick holding skills.

yeah, but he did screw up a lot of holds, especially the previous year, I think they will work on it plenty and get it down before the season starts, as long as the Winchester is accurate and he usually is, it should be fine. Also, Townsend hired one of the stingiest agents to represent his interests, and he is known for getting his clients top dollar on their deals, and Araiza is like 1/3 or 1/4 the price and has a monster leg and is good at penpoint punts on top of being able to put the ball inside the 20 even if his team is deep in their own side of the field. His nickname is the "Punt God" for a reason, it's crazy how far he can kick the football.

Not only is Butker a great kicker... he is a good dude. Let's just say that he is kind of the anti-Travis Kelce. As for that Super Bowl Kick, my first thought was that it reminded me of another of another famous field goals in Chiefs' history, the Presidental Kick by Pete Stoyanovich. Red Tribe Cinema has the kick with the TV call... but if you have the ability to did deep, try to find the radio call with Mitch Holthus (I haven't been able to find it anywhere) where he just shouts "PETE STOYANOVICH FOR PRESIDENT".

Travis may be a goofball and gets overly passionate sometimes but he loves the Chiefs and Andy, and he is a very good person too as far as helping people and being a leader (other than Mahomes), to the people he knows and cares about including the fans he is a great guy, not sure what you mean by the anti Kelce, both are good people Butker is just a lot more soft spoken but they are both very important to the team as well, Mahomes, Kelce, and Chris Jones (for the defense and offense sometimes on the sideline) help motivate and pump up the team.

I'm going to try to be 100% objective, even as someone who wanted the Chiefs to win SB. I think Butker has had more clutch kicks in the highest moments in playoffs and postseason, but Tucker is just on another level in terms of accuracy and length. They are both great though.
