You have to click and hold like a bow to throw it. Thou must hold the right click button for exactly three seconds, no more, no less. Three, is the number of seconds it shall be held. It shall not be held for four seconds, nor shall it be held for two, unless you then count to three. Five is right out!

I think it was really cool, I remember when it was added and I always wondered what happened to it! I think it would be fun now we have better tools and different ways to fight!! The lighting could be such a cool way to have it spawn in too! I hope there's more to the rabbits someday. Also bugs.

As a big Monty Python fan, I very much support this mobs return to survival. It can be as rare a sighting as a trap horse or a pink sheep. I hope Jeb one day reconsiders adding it back in, and while were at it, zombie horses too, please.

The Killer Rabbit looks like a pretty cool mob..... even cooler would be if it has a higher health, maybe something a bit lower then an iron golem? It would also definitely need a unique item that's a guaranteed drop every time you kill one...... possibly something that is totally useless except as a trophy to hang on your wall. I love this guy, and I don’t know if anyone’s suggested this, but it should be a feature like toast or Johnny, where you name the rabbit and it becomes the killer rabbit. I feel like that’d be fun, and it solves the problem of early game players struggling, because it only shows up when you decide to create it.

I remember when this dropped. As being a huge fan of Monty Python, I thought this was hilarious and really cool. Definitely should have left it in. I think putting pop references or other references in games is really clever. I looked up all the gun names in borderlands. And borderlands also had an ode Minecraft in one level.

Imagine if it was reimplemented as a boss. Picture walking through a meadow with some Rabbits hopping around. You come within 6 blocks of a certain red-eyed one and you hear a loud squeak, more ferocious than ordinary rabbits. You turn to see a Rabhit rising as a health bar appears across the top of the screen, and you can almost imagine the dark souls boss music. Fireballs form in the air around the Rabbit and shadows gather on the ground. The sky darkens as clouds form ahead. All other Rabbits begin to scatter away. You regret leaving your house on this day

I feel like the Luck potion effect could maybe work like fortune, and would stack when you use Fortune tools, giving you Fortune IV etc. Maybe it could cover more blocks like stone or logs, other useful materials that can't be fortuned

They could make it even rarer. Like, 1 in 5000 or even less. Most people have never experienced a woodland mansion nor gone to the outer end. I don't see the downside to making killer rabbits be so low chances, that you'd have to be incredibly unlucky to find one before you've upgraded gear.

1: How many Killer Bunnies does it take to kill a Warden?? 2: Yes, they should bring it back. Using the 1-1000 spawn rate. 3: Luck Potion would be a good drop, and maybe it doubles the chance of random (the random tick number per second for the chunk you're in at the time) stuffs for that character. 4: Maybe also if lightning strikes Killer Bunny, it becomes a Charged Bunny and drops a TNT block already exploding.. If the devs are worried about it being a random death event, it could be something affected by regional difficulty (as the skeleton traps that Jeb mentioned already are). By making killer bunnies spawn only after a specific threshold of regional difficulty, it would be impossible for newly spawned, ungeared players to encounter them. Of course, this means that the problem that new passive mobs can't spawn after world generation in Java would need to be fixed first. Check 7:03. The rabbit hits hard, but not so much to be a danger to a fully geared player, especially not considering it has only 3 HP. Wattles only received that damage because he didn't fight back. A fully geared player shouldn't have trouble killing that rabbit. The only thing to consider is making sure an ungeared player doesn't encounter these things.

Wattles was right from one of his videos that one illustration was showing a very vibrant and lush birch biome full of life and uniqueness that really made the biome a lot more welcoming to explore. So I mean... adding the killer rabbit guarding an ancient ruin with loot in the birch forest may prove a nice addition to the revamp biome. 🤔 you know that's a splendid idea... maybe joke around about finding King Arthur's sword Excalibur within the birch forest ruins...

There is a white overpowered rabbit that was added to Old School RuneScape on July 25th, 2019. It has 2000hp, isn't easy to kill, and drops a tradeable crystal grail if you are able to defeat it

I don't mind overplayed references in games (or TV) as long as they are small, have their own twist to them, and actually add something to the content. A random rare hostile mob is a nice little feature, and I personally have not seen the killer rabbit referenced that much in any media I consume. Also, the original movie clip is hilarious; a key part of my comedic taste development during childhood.

If they would implement it back again they would have to change the name because "the KILLER bunny" is "imminient harm - threat to harm others" (which goes against the minecraft community standards) so Mojang would be banned from multiplayer. Remember, kids play this game - we don't want to harm them. I think "the health point decreaser bunny" could be the name to go.

For me, if they decided that The Killer Rabbit should spawn naturally in the word and out from command territory, I think The Killer Rabbit shouldn't spawn naturally with other rabbits and have a 1/1000 spawn rate, but instead has its own area to spawn in. This would probably fix the random death problem that they had for The Killer Rabbit. I like to imagine The Killer Bunny to have its own area like maybe in death cavern near mountain flats to live in, kind of like The Elder Guardians in ocean monuments. And like the Elder Guardian, The Killer Rabbit will not spawn again in its death cavern once killed. I like the cavern to be filled with skeleton skulls and other decorations so that people will identify that it's an area where The Killer Rabbit is in. Let's call the area, Dreaded Cavern that spawns mostly on mountain flats. This would also be a great reference to the Holy Grail movie/show (where they took inspo of the Killer Rabbit) since The Killer Rabbit was first sighted near some sort of cave/open cavern on done sort of high altitude area. The Dreaded Cavern could also store some loot like chainmail to iron armour, raw meat, iron nuggets to ingots, gold nuggets, diamonds (rare and not plentiful), rotten flesh, bones, stone to iron sword, raw rabbit, and maybe TNT. The TNT is also a reference to the Holy Grail since they killed it with explosives. I like The Killer Rabbit to have 3/4 of a health bar to a regular player and still have its same attack power so that it will be even more of a challenges. Lastly, The Killer Rabbit would still drop the same items as a regular rabbit, but make the raw rabbit drop 100% and make the rabbit's foot drop even higher. That practically my idea for The Killer Bunny. Making it a mini-boss like Elder Guardians.

the luck potion increases your chances of getting good loot from random spawning chests, i.e. the ones in mineshafts. this works because the loot isn't generated UNTIL you open the chest. no idea why the potion exists yet there's literally no way of getting it in survival. such a shame, it's a decent mechanic.
