the way he talked about "chads" "stacy's" and "normies" seriously outside of the internet was quite... something.
@Wandergirl108
@Wandergirl108 3 жыл бұрын
In that sense, he kinda reminds me of…not ME, exactly, but of something that happened in my childhood, actually. I guess it happens a lot for people on the spectrum: A group of people around us talk about a joke like it's a real thing, and we internalize it and miss the underlying fact that it's a joke. Led to me throwing a rock at a friend's bike and damaging it, because I thought us girls were going to throw rocks at the guys and was genuinely surprised when both sides immediately turned on me for doing what I thought we were doing. From the outside, we of course look completely absurd and/or crazy, but we didn't get the joke, we thought it was real and acted accordingly. Not saying murdering people because of that is excusable, just that talking about chads and stacys unironically makes sense from that perspective.

Because it’s hard enough in itself, but when you don’t know it and everyone around you tries to change your ways because you’re “too” or “not enough”… well, I was about to hurt myself. @C̶E̶O̶ O̶F̶ L̶O̶N̶E̶L̶I̶N̶E̶S̶ I̶N̶C̶.̶ my advice would be push boundaries with the women you wanna hook up with. They don't want a gentleman most of the time an they won't come to you, sometimes you just gotta pick your moment an ask if they wanna fuck? "How much cheesecake am I gonna have to buy you before you let me tie you up an tickle your toes" has worked wonders for me in the past. Sign up to tinder an just be straight up bro, also I'd like to be clear pushing boundaries isn't the same as breaking then so don't be a pest. Also avoid narcissism and smarm in the way Elliot showed. Also remember women are just talkative guys with with tits, don't put them on a pedestal speak to them the same way you'd speak to your mates. Also be clean. That's important, don't look like a tramp

It seems creepy because of the crimes he committed but it’s not actually abnormal (or creepy) for an autistic person to do this. They often have a hard time communicating or understanding social cues, so they often copy words, expressions, tics etc they think a neurotipycal person would use in any given situation to seem neurotipycal. Another person might’ve understood that these aren’t words people often use irl, but he didn’t.

He’s just “ the guy who lost his mind” and ran over a bunch of people on north Yonge St. Although he was given “life 25” meaning he’s not eligible for parole for at least 25 years, he will likely never be a free man again. Like Paul Bernardo, he will almost certainly have his parole application revoked each and every time. One of the many tragic things about this case is that had he sought some counselling and learned social skills, he may not have acted out his anger like this and those 10 innocent people would be alive and the 16 injured wouldn’t be literally scarred for life.

@@iamcleaver6854 "you plead guilty, then you not only declare that you broke the rules, but that you also feel remorse for doing so." ^ This statement is incorrect. Through history many people have pled guilty without remorse for their actions, and feeling completely justified in what they did. The legal standard of a plea of "guilty" is: The process by which a person admits "criminal liability" to an offence charged resulting in a conviction being entered and the forfeiting of a trial. Nothing in the above says anything about feeling remorse. Asking someone how they plead is paramount to asking admission of if they broke the laws being charged. It has never been about the individuals perceived morality of the act.

I remember this, it was so tragic. I grew up quite near here and I thank you for enlightening me on the details that either I missed in the news or it hadn’t been reported… I was very familiar with the Elliott Rodgers case and had no idea the two were connected - I kinda get the feelings of not having a mate and looking at others couples wondering why it wasn’t you, I think that’s normal, but those feelings that pass - these men took it to a whole other level blaming society. Taking other peoples lives for their own insecurities that manifested into pure evil is one of the most selfish reasons for mass murder I have ever encountered… may the victims of both cases rest in peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Just looked up this case, and there is now 11 victims. :( This is the quote from Wikipedia: "Amaresh Tesfamariam, 65, nurse (She initially survived the attack, but was paralyzed from neck down and never left the hospital. She died on October 28, 2021, as a result of her serious injuries." Heartbreaking.

That somebody was left crippled and paralysed like that is indeed horrific. It's probably better that she died, I don't mean that in any nasty way.

Wikipedia isn't a reliable source at all. Although this is tragic, Wikipedia should never be used as a source when referring to something.

@@TrueComboKing the biggest lie ever told is that Wikipedia isn’t reliable, they all have sources cited at the bottom of the page and almost every page is HEAVILY monitored. As someone who has messed with a random Wikipedia page it has always been changed within minutes

Ken the cop did an excellent job there..... 1 - Not shooting as soon as he realised Alek wasn't armed. 2 - Fooling Alek into thinking he was backing off, and then suddenly turning the table on him. That senior detective was also excellent in his manner and the way he spoke to Alek, because he kept it relaxed and simply worded. Irrational Nutcases Creating Elusive Love
