Adrian, if you see this, I wanted to commend you on your channel and videos. One thing I find you do very well is not portraying these horrific incidences as being acted out by someone who is inherently "evil" but rather showing the highly complex interplay of mental health, societal expectations, and their humanity as reflected through deluded perspectives people like George succumb to. As a father, you're Ethan Crumbley video impacted me. It is the same with George; he could have been helped if somebody had intervened and supported them.

What always perplexes me about incels is that they try to use their possessions (home, car, clothing, etc) as a reason why women should be attracted to them…and then complain that women are shallow and materialistic.

exactly, you fish with gold you're gonna get someone looking for gold. I think a lot of these people (at best) are socially maladjusted and carrying very deep wounds from childhood. That's fine I think. That's relatively normal. What is NOT normal or what is actively harmful I think, is all these courses and programs sold to these people that promise solutions but don't actually give productive/constructive/sustainable solutions but just keep them on the hook so they can get more money out of them without solving the underlying issue until eventually it just bursts. "dominate don't socialize' 'steamroll don't read the room' 'see disrespect everywhere' you see this rhetoric in a lot of male self improvement spaces because its inflammatory and it catches on whereas the truth is more nuanced and muddy and people don't like that. I'd probably put mine as 'it's always better to have no interaction than to have consistently bad interactions. People are individuals; monoliths are for statistics not for day to day life. If you find yourself in a death spiral do everything you can to pull yourself out of it before you drag others down with you. Never compromise but know your limits." or as I told my friends this week, 'it's better to have a homely girl with a good personality who you share a constructive relationship with than to have a beautiful corpse void of any personality you are actually interested in"

Being indoors often or being a gamer can make men socially awkward. Women are like cats we can handle social isolation better. Men need plenty of outdoor time and social interaction throughout their lives to have a healthy mentality. Parents are usually the fault for keeping kids indoors and away from social situations. Social skills are more important for men.

@@flannelpillowcase6475 No one is genetically impoverished, you have infinitely more power to change your financial situation and location, that's a quality subject to change. The same does not exist for autism, that is permanently ingrained into your biology. Ok dying from a lethal disease is worse but poverty is a ridiculous comparison since that's not an irreversible biological condition. Having loving friendships as a poor person is obviously more rewarding than simply existing as an invisible autistic person who will never find the warmth of community. Knowing how to bond with people is literally a feature you can be born unintelligible to. No amount of Nintendo Switch games and funko pops are going to fill that void, it is a brutal handicap. And yes George Sodini is an evil, terrible person. I'm just pointing out autism is a cold, nihilistic condition. He was literally reading a book on how to have emotions at 48 years old, that's seriously dreadful. I don't envy this guys life at all

Because nobody wants that, people want to date someone they have things in common, can talk to and have fun with. This guy had no hobbies and couldn't talk much to others, he was empty af. He needed to work on that if he needed companionship, not only a lover but also friends. And being autistic is not an excuse: there are millions of autists and they have a very normal life, are full of hobbies (actually "losing yourself" into hobbies is a very autistic thing), have friends and are very fun to talk too. Even being an introvert wouldn't be an excuse since, once again, millions of introverts have a very fulfilling life, friends and a lover.

Stop searching, the more you search the less you will find. First you need to be perfectly in balance with yourself and do normal things like hiking for instance . The best thing you can do is go get a dog and give it all your love without spoiling it and show you are in control in a normal way. This way you will get lots of attention and learn to socialize with women in a normal spontaneous and unforced way. If people and women see how you treat your dog and take care of yourself you will get noticed and people will see you as a good guy. Of course you have to be authentic in and with what you do, you can't pretend, if you, for instance hate dogs then this definitely and obviously won't work! Don't see getting a girlfriend as your most important goal in life. If you need more advice, just ask. I wish you all the best.

As a single man in my 30's, if there's one thing I'm grateful to have realized, is that books on dating actually made things WORSE for me. It puts an uncomfortable pressure of _trying_ to come off as impressive, which ironically will make you feel awkward with/around women, instead. It can also remove the fun in interaction, because the dating books tell you about having success with women at all times, rather than to just relax and be social, instead to being fixated at a desired result. The best books to read are books aimed at authenticity, in order to help accept, love and value yourself, even with your personal shortcomings (we all have them). Who _you_ are matters the most because that's what will make you connect with people, moreso than what you have and what you can do.

I don’t think that’s what it’s about at all. It’s an example that men do go crazy if they don’t get physical intimacy. This is an extreme example that went too far. But think about how long he lived without hurting anyone. He was never violent. Seemingly normal guy. It was a tipping point. And he finally broke. Men are wired differently than women. It’s a biological need. Like how animals go crazy in captivity. There is something natural in their behavior that is missing. Not a popular opinion but we should have never outlawed prostitution or red light districts. At least back in the day they had their uses/purposes. The women who needed money and had no other skills had an outlet. Men who needed physical contact had an outlet. And the obligation would not lie on the rest of the women in society. The problem goes deep. Men without women, men without families, men without a community. Men who have nothing to lose are a danger. It’s harrowing and also very sad that there are more and more of these types of men today… I think it’s time for us as a society to avoid creating men like this. We have to be sympathetic to everyone’s needs.

I am not defending what the guy did but will just twist the topic in a diffrent direction You need to ask the more important question Why are wo.en his own age i terested in him Because they are the same age That is a bs reason to be in a relation ship Maybe because the women are old and npt getting you ger and 90 percent of their eggs are dried up and dead so they can not have kids Also a bs reason for a mam to be in a relatio ship with a women who is his own age Maybe because they are old a d want to settle down Also a bs reason The main reason to be in a relationship with some is because you care about that perso which later turns to love Being in the same age bracket is pure bs

Jokes aside, this reminds me of Elliott Roger, not a bad looking guy who could have had plenty of women interested if he didn't come across as a creepy stalking, obsessive weirdo. He says the same things ER said. It's like he never grew up. He has a very childlike way of seeing women and how relationships work. Good looks won't necessarily save you from loneliness. Elliott Roger is different nice clout bait. Elliott Roger was a complete fucking moron. The entire thing that baffles me about the incel movement is 'why do they obsess about people who arent interested?" I think it stems from some very deep need for validation from dysfunctional childhoods that no one will ever talk about for the fact that its so much easier to just complain about a problem than it is to solve it. Like 'if this person who rejected all of a sudden becomes interested again then that means I can approve of myself' type thinking. Its absolutely stupid and dare i say socially retarded in the most clinical way I can phrase it. Elliott Roger seemed to desire sorority girls while being.... well a trust fund baby with pretty toys. He wasn't the hunk dude that they would probably go for and he was also half asian which is a very raw deal as a male. The Asian Female White Male thing is a VERY deep rabbit hole and the males that come out of that normally have a lot of self image issues not helped by an environment which seems to denigrate them at every turn while they also contain the entitlement of whiteness. It's tough. Anyways he basically was fishing for gold diggers at people who just wanted 6 feet and a 6 pack and then got pissy when the audience he was (barely) selling to wasnt buying. This dude.... is straight up just a fucking pedo. It's REALLY weird for a 30 plus guy to be wanting "young women" and basically flashing his assets at them to entice them like candy in a van no? Maybe its some misguided attempt to relive a youth he never had idk idc. I... get nauseous and extremely uncomfortable at the prospect of a relationship with someone who isn't within 2-3 years of my age. For someone in their 40s to be actively pursuing and trying to seduce girls in their 20s... thats a little bit suspicious dont you think? And its much different than Elliott Roger. Paris Hilton is a different kind of stupid than Kim Kardashian.

There is an epidemic of lying. That's the root cause. People who lie to themselves are the most dangerous people around. All of the damage or trauma it's just a convenient shield to block personal responsibility. We all engage in it to varying degrees, the correct path forward is to tell the truth and for partners to hold one another accountable to what is true. Relationships fail, typically, because both parties fail in this regard. Whereas men tend to be more aggressive in their failure and with lies; women tend to be more agreeable and enablers in their failure. We are supposed to correct one another to help steer each other towards the middle. While it is true some are beyond saving it is also true on an individual level if we are not at least competent in telling ourselves the truth there is no and will be no successful relationship.

Putting aside his creepy videos and waxwork-like appearance in some of his pics, he and other infamous incels clearly never wanted to accept that for a huge number of people, being real, down to earth and accepting of oneself - warts and all - is far more attractive than this kind of bizarre behaviour.

I have observed- however, many men who go for the female who expects them to pay. Maybe its seen that she loves herself more, they like that confidence- or are just used to a prostitute type situation.

Loneliness sucks, I agree. I felt this way when I was coming out of high school, so I can only imagine what it feels like as a 48 year old. But that’s where the sympathy stops. Living for the purposes of companionship isn’t a full life. There’s so much more out there that can be overlooked when you make life only about one thing. And to then twist that loneliness into bitterness and hate, it’s just awful. My message to anyone feeling lonely is that you’re never completely alone! Live your life to the fullest and you never know what can happen. I met my wife when I stopped being so desperate. 😅

Even tough I'm not desperate for being single and virgin at my age (I'm 26), and even tough I try to be a good person and help both my friends and family when possible I find myself in a world where no matter how bad of a person you are, you have the choice of wanting a specific girl you like and have her with no issues, while on my side I've been told that is wrong to want someone as your partner. So it's either be with someone I don't really like just for not being lonely or accept the fact that I can't be given what I would like. Also add this: differently by many of my friends I'm quite friendly and able to make friends and connections. It happend twice that when helping some of then out of loneliness I got twice stabbed (one was extremely jealous and treated me like shit even tough I presented her to him, the other one started taking shit on my back and telling people false stories to discredit me) in the back, all of this because they wanted a girl and in the end by fucking me over they got it. You tell me if someone should just accept to be used as an object while also being devoid of love😂

You have to adapt, Im in my 40s, and besides a few dates and flings, I was basically single for 10 years, covid I didn't even date or hook up for 3 years. You want to know what happened? I had the best garden in my neighborhood, my house was immaculate, I got into photography, week long backpacking trips, I was in the best shape of my life, even started to brew my own beer. I was having a damn good time, until I met my current GF out of nowhere at a check out counter, I was so used to being single that it was hard for me to re-adjust to being in a relationship again. But again, you have to adapt.

As I watched this story, I begin to notice that this is the third man that had the same difficulty with women. Of course, just because you are alone and have a hard d time with the opposite sex, you should never take out your frustration on innocent people, but my question is "What do you do when you have been alone a long time and are in need of another ones attention"? What do you do when you need affection but aren't getting it? What do you do when you want to just feel loved but no one is there to give you that, or even for you to give your love to? I empathize with him to an extent. I have myself been in that situation myself and I know how it feels to be lonely. When your friends are all getting paired up but you all left in the cold all by yourself. It can destroy you inside. You feel like you are not worthy of anyone being there for you. It rips you apart mentally and you just want the pain to stop. It stays with every waking day. The feeling of rejection is excruciatingly painful.

I've had periods of my life where I've been lonely, but I've never been so lonely that I've felt the need to do a walk-around tour of my house to try to attract prospective partners. That's a new level of desperation and suggests a complete absence of even the most basic awareness of what women want.

Well if he'd gone to some overpopulated country where there are a lot of young women living in poverty relative to the U.S., then he should have been able to snap up some desperate woman with this video! I mean in places like the Philippines, in the rural provinces or the slums of Manila, there would have been plenty of takers. Heck, there are 60 yr old Western male pensioners whose only income is their government pension who can land themselves Filipina wives under the age of 30. Shocking but true.

@@SY-ok2dq Actually men in their 70s and women in their 20s is nothing exceptional in many countries. And why not if both parties are happy about it. At this age of diversity, it should be no problem, should it?

@@forumef9997 Where my family is from it NEVER happens - at least not publicly and would have to be kept a hidden affair from everyone including family, neighbors, employers etc. Goes against cultural norms (Confucian values) and is taboo. Of course there are probably prostitutes who service men that old but they would have to be rich. Realistically, people in their 60s or 70s are at the end stages of their lives - in the past, in many countries they'd be close to the median age for death. So in some ways that would be an excellent outcome for a young woman in her 20s to marry a man that old - but only if the woman doesn't have a child that she has to then raise and provide financially for, when she becomes a widow, or if he's wealthy AND leavea everything to the widow and her children. But men that old might have older or adult children by other wives and therefore there's the possibility of the estate either going to those older children or of the estate being divided amongst heirs and that would leave a widow and children with less. That's okay if he's very wealthy, but if he's not, the widow would have to try to marry again (hard to do with another man's children, in the past) or otherwise find employment or income. Meanwhile a young woman marrying a man of around the same age or maybe ~10yrs older, can reasonablt expect that their husband will be around for at least 15~20 years which is enough for the man to provide for any children until they reach working age (which, many decades ago was 15, 16 - even back in the 70s and 80s in the U.K. it was very common for teens to finish school at 16 and go get full-time jobs). Even though a young man may not have the wealth of many middle-aged or elderly men, many young men can expect to earn more as they get older. And wives will not have to be caretakers of both children AND an elderly husband who needs help doing things, might be bedridden or in hospital etc. Also, people in the 50s, 60s and especially 70s will have very little in common with young people and are likely to have extremely different ideas and values. Especially in terms of women, women's rights and conditions for women have advanced a great deal in the past several decades. Therefore the values that young women have may clash with much older men. This is very true in recently Westernized countries such as China. Young women in China have had great opportunities for education and career compared to women 20~25yrs ago. They don't see themselves as only housewives and child carers, and they want things like emotional support, sharing of housework etc. Men in their 40s are not going to understand or agree to that because they grew up in a very different society. It's even worse as you go up in age.
