About The Killers:
The Killers are a Las Vegas-based four-piece who formed in 2003, featuring the talents of singer/keyboardist Brandon Flowers, drummer Ronnie Vanucci, guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer. The band has received countless accolades for their artistic achievement, including multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Award nominations, MTV Video Music Awards, NME Awards and more.Their first album, Hot Fuss, was released in 2004 to worldwide acclaim.The album contained the singles “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me,” in addition to the anthemic song “All These Things That I’ve Done,” which has since been referenced by the likes of U2 and Coldplay.The band toured for two years straight behind Hot Fuss, playing more than four-hundred shows, and eventually returned to Vegas to begin to work on the follow-up album with legendary producers Alan Moulder and Flood.The result, a love letter of sorts to their hometown entitled Sam’s Town, was released in 2006 and spent forty-two weeks on the Billboard Top 200.A b-sides collection entitled Sawdust was released in 2007, followed by their third studio album, Day & Age, which was released to widespread critical praise in 2008, anchored by massive single “Human.”The Killers released Battle Bornin September 2012, which saw them expanding their world tour into countries they’ve never visited before, and finally were honored to perform at the world-renowned Wembley Arena, one of the most monumental and significant shows of their career.After a decade of making music, in November 2013, The Killers released a “Best Of” collection, Direct Hits, which featured two incredible new songs alongside classics from the band’s revered catalogue.The band, who have sold over twenty-five million albums worldwide, and headlined all of the world’s top festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury), released their newest studio album, Wonderful Wonderful, in September 2017, where it landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart the week of its release, as well a stopping the charts in the U.K. and Australia. The album is the band’s fifth consecutive number one in the U.K., and Brandon Flowers’ seventh U.K. number one overall.

Because someone needed to play the 2nd guitar live, and I guess Brandon can't play guitar, so they had the bassist play guitar, and Brandon play bass (this was before they had the second guitarist play live with them).

Will be 10 years this January for my sister passing away, she got sick on a Monday and died that Friday. This song does the same for me, everything has changed and so did I. It comes back in time, the loss never heals but the days get better in time. long as you said I love you at the end of every conversation before she passed, that makes the healing better. My brother decided the argument they were in wasn't worth getting over to call her. He lives with major guilt and won't even visit her grave, because his ignorance didn't let him answer the phone to talk with her. best advice I have, don't let petty shit hold you back when it comes to family and love them even if you hate them.

+Robert Mazzeo thank you so much....your words are heavy with truth and honesty and pain that we both share. I got to look into her eyes and tell her that I loved her, tell your brother that if we truly love in our hearts there is no way that their spirit can not know. I am sorry for your loss and I accompany you in the pain we now call our lives

When I first heard this song, I was heart broken from my first serious relationship. I was going off to a new city and my first year in university, but I felt confident after hearing this song that I would be alright. I’m now six months from graduation and in a new loving, healthy relationship. The first serious one since then. Time really heals, I pray for you all, it’ll be okay 💕

@Julie-ei7tj
@Julie-ei7tj 2 жыл бұрын
@@guapoboy101 it’s okay to feel like you’re in a black hole :) people fail to realize the only way you heal true hurt is too actually feel the hurt. It’s the only way to heal. Mourn, be upset, ask questions, cry and be completely sad. Eventually it’ll get to a point that you’ll feel like you’ll never get over it. Days pass and weeks and you’ll slowly feel just okay. Hell to be honest, I even cried when I realized I finally moved on because it meant it was fully over. But I felt free. I’ve learned so much over that relationship, what I like and don’t like. Use that relationship of the past as a helping tool for your future relationships to not repeat the same mistake again :) I’m sorry you’re hurt, but this feeling of hurt let’s you realize the love was real and that the relationship meant a lot to you. Some people either can’t come close to that feeling or will never get experience the feeling because they haven’t found love. I know it feels like the most important person just left from your life. Please understand the most important person is yourself. Don’t ignore the feelings. And yeah, I did drink during the times I was sad, but when I saw myself rely on it I realized I had to start feeling the feelings raw and sober. It’s uncomfortable, feelings are uncomfortable especially when you’re sad or angry. However, give your heart the chance to heal properly and mind to learn from this, it may change who you are and that’s okay As long as you get better from who you were before and not worse I hope this reaches you and I hope you’ll feel better through time ❣️ Healing really is through feeling and time

If the killers had a stand out guitarist they'd be legendary. Its their 1 flaw holding them back. Still a great band carrying the torch to the next era. Not slagging him just saying imagine if they had a slash level guitarist how much better theyd be. The best true rock band since oasis in this lost era of weak rock music also known as 98-now. A diamond in the rough
